Im curious where this throuple with Nancy will go because I want it to die quickly and never come back. Thor is clearly not comfortable with being in a polyamorous situation and has always been reluctantly ok-ish with the idea because he wants to be with Flower. That's absolutely not enthusiastic consent and that is a situation doomed to disaster.

Flower at most is someone who can be happy in either polyamorous or monogamous relationships, though from her backstory it sounds like she tolerated polyamory as a means of keeping people at arm's length. This situation with Nancy seems to specifically be her offering a polycule with Nancy as a punishment to Thor and apology to Nancy more than a genuine desire to date them both.

Nancy is a dirty little freak (adoration) who would be happy in a polycule with everyone in the house except Pete and I know she won't get that but I hope she gets something, baby girl deserves the world.

#i have my own trauma with polyamory that makes it difficult to watch depictions of it #but also I spent many years caring deeply about polyamory representation and this is Bad Polyamory #also my trauma is around my nesting partner trying to coerce me into throuples I wasnt interested in #like. Flower isnt doing exactly what he was doing but it's also not a completely unrelated thing she's doing either #and the details are different enough that I dont think Flower is being horrible. I really hope someone finds the representation of Flower's bi/pan sexuality familiar and affirming because I find it very unrelatable and my hope is always that any queer representation has someone out there going "oh, that's me!"

#flower just feels to me like she's incidentally fine with dating women as long as she's also dating a man and the man is into the woman #like Nancy is clearly enthusiastically into other women in a one-on-one setting #but I didnt get the impression Flower was interested in Nancy or that she's ever dated a woman because she was into her as an individual #more that she wanted to date men who had another outlet for their attentions so she could withdraw and cool things off #cbs ghosts for ts
