it’s funny antis don’t see ‘you must be attracted to kids/your siblings/etc’ as sexual harassment like.

I work with old people, and am particularly affectionate with a few specific old ladies, and I had another resident imply I must be attracted to them bc I’m so affectionate with them. my manager considered that sexual harassment and told me I didn’t have to interact with the guy ever again.

it is Always harassment to come up to someone and start talking about your perception of their sexual proclivities, you’d think that wouldn’t be hard to understand.

ok so you support the disabled, disordered, and mentally ill. but are you normal when someone takes long to respond to you? or if they have a hard time listening to you? when someone has a hard time giving you their attention? or when their manners aren’t perfect? or when someone makes mistakes that may be obvious or simple to you? or when someone talks loudly or “causes a scene?” are you normal when people have to think really hard to explain things? or when they have a hard time putting their thoughts into words?

are you normal when people’s hair is unkempt or oily or visibly unbrushed? or when their face might be full of acne? or when they don’t have deodorant on for one reason or another? how about if their clothes are dirty? 

are you normal about disabled/disordered/mentally ill people when they make you a little uncomfortable?

I'm just dying of both laughter and secondhand embarrassment.

I suddenly remembered my evil ex's Tumblr and went to see if it was recently updated(hasn't been in 2 years) and suddenly came across a point made 4 years after she horrifically dumped me where my step-dad apparently sent her a friend request??? Like ew, even I don't want to be associated with him wtf?

And then of course she goes on about how I was "manipulative stalker" and that my name gives her a panic attack. Which I find hilariously ironic considering she would pull this "I'm mad at you and you know why" trick on the regular when we dated(despite me having no idea why she was mad), the fact that she answered my phone while I was in the bathroom(without permission) and told the person on the other line to never call me again because I hated them(found out about that one years later when I reached out to said person on FB). Also funny because the only reason she stopped talking to me TO MY KNOWLEDGE is because I told her our friend(who she was bestie's with and is now life partners with afaik) hadn't spoken to me in months. Suddenly the next day she wasn't answering any of my messages or calls, and I had to find out from a mutual friend that apparently we hadn't dated in MONTHS(news to me) and that I was a manipulative stalker.
