snow. a kiss that leaves lipstick stains // kiss & tell @noxcomnia

     SUPPRESSED WHISPERS  &  SOUNDLESS LAUGHTER             fingers sifting through tresses disarranged following a moment of downtime .  mouth unyielding even with hushed giggles:  tongue-tied,  inarticulate efforts at pulling husband away long enough for 'good morning' to pass .  it's actually fairly uncommon for snow to behave so straightforwardly,  so,  part of him wants moment appreciated even if worriment proposes an underlying issue .  as if sensing misgiving,  lips find one another .  sighs of name, hands falling down figure in a constant struggle to say fuck it and grant whatever's happening  or  pushing away long enough to get an idea of what's going on .  ah,  wasn't there a meeting come midday?  gross .  maybe he should overlook the time a while longer and enjoy the attention .  clearly,  snow isn't in position to criticize decisions when he's the whole reason consideration is taking place .

     after a few seconds of getting to know (again) the taste of their mouths,  snow is the one responsible for pulling away .  grin too sheepish for what he'd spent the past few minutes doing .  with eyes still transfixed on mouth,  however,  figaro notes a peculairity .  is that lipstick?  it's smeared .  ( his brain takes longer to process the meaning behind that than he would care to admit. )  following gradual,  disbelieving blinks,  hand rises to throat where fingers wipe away sprinkled evidence of what had happened;  head thrown back in silent laughter as he goes and nuzzles against pillows .
