the leaves steadily changed colors as fall and the cool air rolled into town. It seemed to be about the only normal thing about Alucard right about now. Lily liked to pride herself on her amateur photography skills. She by no means was the best around but she could hold her own in the right setting. Seeing the perfect chance to snap a few rather aesthetically pleasing fall pictures the woman set out for roamers park. 

Her camera shuttered as her face never left the view finder. Shifting slightly she caught a glimpse of someone unsuspecting. These candid type photos were her favorite. The redheaded woman felt these pictures showed a persons true self. “hold that pose.” She mused as she clicked away. Finally pulling the camera from her face she pulled the snapshot up, a smile taking form on her face. “oh that’s good! Would you like to see?”

loki’s never one to say to no to having photos taken of them, though they can’t imagine that them lounging across a park bench with a coffee cup cradled almost tenderly in hand makes for that picturesque of a shot. they resist the urge to break the pose and raise an eyebrow at her, stifling the question wanting to come out. instead, they wait for her to put the camera down to take a sip from the cup, savoring the overly sweet drink for a moment.

“a chance to look at myself? how could i possibly say no,” loki replies, an easy grin coming to their face as they hold out the hand without the coffee. maybe they shouldn’t be expecting her to just hand her camera over, but it isn’t like they really want to move from where they’re sitting. “do you often to take photos of strangers?”

              to say bill was bored in the shop was a mere understatement. they were almost falling asleep in their reserved seat at the front behind the counter — one that was excruciatingly painful for their ass, especially from the previous night when they had taken yet another stranger home. they decided to call it quits once the sun went down and closed up the store early, figuring there would be no more customers, taking a cigarette out of their pack, settling it between their lips. once outside, they breathed in the cool summer air — it was always nicer come fall. as they dug out the lighter from their pockets, it distracted them from looking where they were going and bumped into someone along the way. “ my bad. didn’t — see you there. ”

tooru’s on his way home from the daycare, walking home for once rather than catching a bus or taxi. it’s likely to be one of the last nights he can do it before it gets too cold to really enjoy the weather anymore. mild annoyance is already running through him - one of the parents had been late to picking up their child, citing a work emergency - when the other bumps into him, and he stumbles slightly. it’s his own fault, he supposes, for not noticing the other until it was too late, but that does nothing to stop the further annoyance from sparking. “it’s all right,” he replies, voice so overly sweet that it’s obvious he doesn’t really mean it, “but maybe next time, pay less attention to your cigarettes and more to the people around you.” maybe tooru should take his own advice, and stop being distracted by his own issues. maybe.

CANON BACKGROUND

he’s one of 43 children born on october 1, 1989, to women who hadn’t been pregnant, and one of seven of those 43 to be adopted (read: bought) by reginald hargreeves. he and his siblings form the umbrella academy, and each have a power; ben can summon (and somewhat control) a tentacle monster through his stomach. unfortunately, at the age of 16 or 17, while on a mission, ben was killed. but he stuck around as a ghost, haunting his brother klaus. until their other brother, five, who had disappeared years before came back and said the apocalypse was coming. they weren’t able to stop it, though, and five brought all the siblings back in time, where the apocalypse was, once again, coming. this time, ben was able to help stop it, but he had to sacrifice his (after)life to save vanya and stop the apocalypse.

ALUCARD BACKGROUND

he was adopted as a baby by a family living in alucard. he had a relatively quiet upbringing, nothing especially out of the ordinary happening, and went on to college, eventually graduating and finding work at a local high school as an english literature teacher.

born and raised in japan, and started playing volleyball because he enjoyed it, but he didn’t begin taking it more seriously until high school. his parents didn’t fully understand when he came out as trans, but they tried to be accepting. he wound up moving to the us for college, and ended up making the move permanent. he wound up getting a job as a volleyball coach, but since that can’t and won’t fill all his time or pay all his bills, he also works at a daycare.

ALUCARD BACKGROUND

they landed in the foster system at the young age of seven, after the unfortunate death of their mother and their father being unable to be found. they didn’t last long with most families due to not fitting in or being accepted, and for having a penchant for running away. but they eventually do land with a family that accepts and supports them, and this time they didn’t run away. they attended college for only one semester before dropping out to focus more fully on their true passion, writing.

adoptive siblings/parents/etc friends they’re not exactly usually the easiest person to get along with, so they’d almost definitely have some enemies exes (i’d especially love one that was more serious, like an ex-spouse or fiance/e) potentially a current romantic relationship?? or something heading in that direction???? since they’re a writer maybe ?? a fan of their works or smth??
