Happy holi !!!

So holi is a indian festival celebrated in the month of march .this year it was on 8th of march

Can you do a one shot were reader and her friend play holi with mikelson family .

I wasn’t sure whether to mention the festival to the Mikaelsons, I planned to go with my other friends to celebrate but i wanted the Mikaelsons to come, they were my family now.

I had just finished oiling my hair, making sure i was protecting my scalp from the paints and colours that were bound to get all over it tomorrow. I was slipping into my kurta pyjamas when Klaus came into our room. His arms slipping around my waist as he pressed his warm lips to the crown of my head

“you look beautiful my love” he whispered touching the fabric between his fingers

“no bright colours for bed tonight?” he asked with a tilt if his head as he looked at me through the mirror infront of us

“no not tonight” i muttered with a small smile before walking out his gasp to our bed, curling up, i reached my arm out to pull him closer. He wrapped himself around me and gently felt my hair

“you’ve oiled it? i thought you didn’t do that too often?” i smiled to myself listening to him, his fingers scratched at my scalp lightly

“i actually um i have this thing tomorrow with a few friends…you’re welcome to join- all of your family, it’s a festival- course if you’re busy its fine” i rambled not noticing his hands holding mine as he sat up to listen to me

“My love, my family is your family, you know this and we would love to join you and your festival, what is it for?” he asked softly kissing the back of my hand

“Holi…it’s for spring and love. It’s a festival of colour, so you throw coloured dye at one another, often the children have water guns with brightly coloured water inside, Hope would love it i think” i smiled brightly at him as he returned it with a loving gaze

“is there anything in particular we need to prepare for you?” he asked

“i’d wear something plain, something you don’t mind being covered in paint. we’ll go to my friends where we can eat and drink before the celebration begins. It doesn’t really start until the evening ish so Hope won’t have to wait to eat or anything, everything’s ready you just need to turn up” he grinned as he kissed my forehead

“i’ll tell our family of it and I’m certain they will attend, Hope in particular will be overly excited i am sure, and i have plenty of clothes ready, i am after all an artist” i laughed lightly and shuffled closer

“i truly adore you” i uttered and his eyes glazed over with a shine as he smiled

“i love you, i always will” he whispered as he held me close, his chin resting on top my head as we drifted to sleep.

The next day all of the Mikaelsons were ready, dressed in appropriate clothing and Hope was running all over the place

Klaus had followed me around all morning like a lost puppy, willing to do anything he could

“are we leaving yet?” he asked making sure he had packed all the spare clothes for everyone

“mhm yep lets get on our way, who’s driving?” i questioned

“Elijah of course, heaven forbid you fail abide to each and every driving law. Honestly it’s ridiculous, i speed one time and he refused to let me use his car”

“it’s more of a family car though” i reminded him, in response eh only rolled his eyes.

Finally there, i greet each of my friends and introduced everyone to each other. Dishes of colourful substances were set up everywhere, buckets of coloured water with sponges lined up. Hope looked ready to have a filed day and the other kids were quick to involve her.

As soon as it began Kol had dumped a handful of dye over Elijahs head. His white suits instantly ruined making Niklaus burst out laughing resulting in Elijah drenching them both in pink water. I threw my head back as i laughed before Hope chased my around with her water gun.

Music was blasting as i smeared a mix of paint down Klaus’s neck and chest, he only smiled widely before wiping light blue solution across my cheeks

“you know you said this was also the festival of love…” he said while bringing his lips closer to mine

“mhm and spring, should we get a pet bunny?” asked with a giggle seeing the distaste on his face as his nose scrunched up

“absolutely not”

“but daaad” Hope sounded from behind us with her arms crossed. Before he could reply Rebekah had thrown a significant amount of lime green paint over his side making him gasp and return her with a deathly stare. She run past at a human pace, grabbing Hope on the way and spinning her around

“you gonna come again next year?” i asked amused

“for you, my love i would do this every day”

this family would be the thing that brought an indescribable happiness to my life and i loved each of them in their own way.

(this could have been better! I’ve been struggling the past week to actually get ideas down but i hope its still something :) I hope everyone who celebrates had a wonderful Holi!!)

It had happened again only this time it was worse. It had gone too far. Thanks to Niklaus’ dealings behind his brother’s back, she was in this mess. It wasn’t meant to happen this way, this was not the plan but when did Klaus ever listen to anyone but himself?

The sun had risen and set twice so Y/N knew she had been held captive for at least two and a half days. She would question why he was taking so long to find them but that’s not an answer she really wanted to know. She knows he’d say he was working his hardest, doing his best but that wasn’t why. He would never admit it.

Her head had finally stopped its incessant pounding, at the time she could feel the rush of blood. She could smell it too, yesterday she was sure she tasted it. Copper, similar to that of a coin or the end of a small battery. She couldn’t think of other things that tasted like blood, those were the first two. Her hands were bound in shackles and she was in a cell that was as dark as the night. She doesn’t remember how she got here, one minute they were making a deal then an ambush and now she’s in a cell. It didn’t matter how she got, she knew who got her here.

He was sitting in a cell across from hers, head hung low, coughing every minute or so. For the first time since they got here, she finally got a good look at him. His bloodied shirt had stuck to him like a second skin. The dried blood on his chin vividly reminded her of last night when he sank his fangs into their throats, a cheshire smile on his face as they died. One by one, they fell but before he could applaud himself, he was on his knees. Screaming whilst he held his head with both hands, a stake plunged through him from the back to the front. He spluttered bloody saliva all over before falling. The witches smirked at his temporarily dead body before disappearing just as quick as they appeared.

We had decided to make the deal at the graves. I’m sure there’s some irony somewhere in there, something about deals and devils. The witches had wanted a certain foe defeated and in return, they’d leave the family alone. I went along because I alone could calm both sides should anything arise, and of course things did rise. Niklaus being the paranoid man-child that he is, decided to make a side deal. He agreed to get rid of said foe but only after he learned why the witches feared him. It’s no secret they could’ve killed their enemy but something was stopping them and that is what Klaus wanted.

Y/N couldn’t care less about it all. Yes she was curious why the witches couldn’t just do it themselves but she wasn’t curious enough to help their enemy. The entire time during the meeting, she knew something was off. She found out about Klaus’ deal at the same time as everyone else but that wasn’t it. Something was in the air, it felt chilling and cold. It wasn’t death, she knew what that felt like and this wasn’t it. She knew it’d reveal itself but it’d be too late.

It wasn’t until Niklaus had fallen that she figured it out. There was no foe, the witches had planned it all. It was a trap but not just any ordinary one that ended in exchanges. This ended with someone’s death, hers.

“Still trying to work it out?”

He was awake again. The coughing had stopped but it’d start again in less than a minute.

“Won’t you speak to me?”

A few seconds.

“Y/N, I’m–” the coughing fit started before he could finish.

There it was. It’ll happen again in two minutes. Yes, she had been keeping track of his breathing, not that she needed to. He’d be fine.

“Fine. Don’t speak then.” His voice sounded gravely.

Silence descended upon us for a few seconds before his coughing fit began anew. At this point he was just pretending and doing too much.

“Could you shut up?”

“Ah, she speaks. Got worried you died on me, I’d never hear the end of it from him.”

Y/N had grown tired of him. She’d grown tired of his coughing and his words, hell his whole existence bothered her. Once upon a time he was more to her but never again.

She had laid down and placed her legs on the wall, her body was at a ninety degree angle. Her eyes had been closed before she made the wrong decision of speaking to him. Planting her feet firmly against the wall, she pushed herself off of it and got up in a sitting position. Her legs weren’t bound, there was no need, but they weren’t strong enough to walk so she crawled from the corner of her cell towards the bars. She could see him much more clearly now. There was a vervain plant tied to the vent that blew directly at him. On the other vent, there was a wolfsbane plant. That explained the obnoxious coughing. If he were a normal vampire or wolf, he’d be dead.

“Why’d you do it?”

“Why wouldn’t I? Since when have witches asked us for help without a hidden agenda?”

“Please. You didn’t do it out of the goodness of your heart, you have none. You wanted to team up with their enemy in hopes of having something over the witches but it backfired.”

“Did it?”

“You’re so blind, it’s laughable. What a spoiled bastard you are.”

He growled at that. Y/N always knew precisely what to say to get under his skin. He hated the name even though it’s what he was.

“Don’t.” He warned.

“What bastard? Enlighten me on what you’ll do.”

“Y/N don’t start. Not now.”

“I would’ve let you die. I did let you die.”

“I’m still here.”

“Because of him.”

Y/N pulled away from the bars but not before she saw the flash of hurt on his face. She didn’t stare long enough to decipher it, she turned around and leaned her head against the wall. Closing her eyes as though that would shut him out.

Niklaus regretted his decision ever since that day. He had met Y/N first a little over 100 years ago, paying respects to her dead at the cemetery. She sat outside on the black metallic bench that was next to a huge grey mausoleum. He assumed it to be her familys’. He was meeting a witch in the cemetery, not too far from where he currently was but something kept him still. He stood there and watched her, half wanting to say hello but also walk away. He should’ve walked away.

It was the night before your birthday everyone was home sitting in the living room deciding rather we should say arguing about which movie to watch

Elijah was on his knee. He pulled out a beautiful ring and looked at you.

The first time I saw you i knew I found someone with whom I would like to spend my entire life with. You taught me what love really is. Your eyes were filled with tears.

Even kol and Rebekah and Freya were teary eyed seeing both of you.

"Finally you guys are getting married. CONGRATULATIONS" said Rebekah.

While everyone was enjoying their drinks Elijah saw u were alone for a second and he came behind u and hugged u again.

"i can't wait to spend the rest of my life with u, sweetheart" Elijah whispered in ur ear.

Bad day!

Summary:- y/n had a bad day but it all gets better with Elijah

Y/n had a bad day today. Everything was off and somehow nothing was going as it should. She was pissed for the first half of the day and then by evening y/n just started to feel tired and quite unexplainable sad. Finally she was going home where Elijah was waiting for his baby to come home.

Elijah was cooking for y/n as she was a little bit late today and he knew her day went shitty so being the best boyfriend in this world he decided to make her feel better.

As soon as y/n came home she dropped her bags and keys and went straight to look for Elijah.

"Elijah, I am home. Where are you!?"

"I am here sweetheart" the voice came from the kitchen. Y/n walked quickly to the kitchen finding Elijah cooking her favourite dish for her. Y/n stood by the door watching Elijah for a second before she went to stand near the kitchen counter where Elijah was cooking.

As soon as y/n went near him. Elijah pulled her in for a tight hug. Squeezing her in his arms because he knows it makes her feel safe and y/n practically melts in his arms. Tears starting to form in her eyes as Elijah was hugging y/n tight and running his fingers through her hair.

"Elijah" y/n said in a low voice

"Yes darling. What happened babygirl?"

"Bad day" y/n says tears already ready to fall from her eyes.

"i know sweetheart" Elijah says picking y/n up and settling her down on the counter and cupping her face and wipes away the tears falling from her eyes. Elijah quickly turns off the stove not even looking away from y/n.

Elijah started y/n favourite music while y/n was still sitting on the kitchen counter. Hearing the music y/n smiled at him.

"There you go. Thats the beautiful smile" Elijah said coming back to the stove and continued cooking while y/n was now happy and swaying to the music.

"Okay all done. Now do you want to eat or do you want to do something else darling" Elijah asked resting his hands on y/n knees.

"Cuddles Elijah" y/n said giving Elijah puppy eyes. Quickly y/n added "please" after that knowing Elijah can't resist that.

"Okay cuddles it is then" Elijah said picking up y/n in bridal style and taking her to the couch. y/n giggled arms around his shoulders and burying herself in his neck.

Getting settled down Elijah kissed her on her temple neck shoulders wrist and every inch of her skin. They stayed like this for a while. It was peaceful in his arms.

"Do you wanna get up now? Are you not hungry baby?" Elijah asked her kissing her.

"No. I am really comfy and it feels nice" snuggling closer to him.

"As you wish darling" elijah said kissing her on her neck and getting more comfortable snuggling y/n closer again.

Summary:- It is y/n and elijah's anniversary and y/n decided to surprise Elijah by giving him a lap dance.

Today was y/n and elijah's aniversary. Elijah set up a huge romantic date. He was looking extremely handsome in his suit where y/n wore a red colour gown. They had a nice dinner date and now Elijah and y/n were sitting in the car to get back home.

"Elijah, I have a surprise for you."Y/n said blushing and looking at Elijah who was driving.

It was a rainy day today. Y/n was curled up on the couch by the fireplace reading a book. Y/n looked out of the huge window and saw that it was raining. Playfight with Elijah

Summary:-y/n and Elijah have a playful fight and so much fluff. Once you read you will understand how fluffy it is.

It was a quiet afternoon and Elijah was cooking for y/n he was busy cooking and y/n was sitting on the dinning table eating some blueberries. Elijah was focused on cooking and suddenly y/n felt playful and threw a blueberry at Elijah and it hit him right at the back of his head.

"Hey, you got me. But I was not paying attention" Elijah said. y/n was a laughing mess "Eli i can't believe I" laughing while holding her arms around her stomach as it hurts from laughing." How did i get you"y/n said uncontrollably laughing." "Sweetheart, you are in it now". "Oh really" y/n said still laughing as tears fall down from laughing so much. Elijah goes near her and kisses her on her forehead.

Later that afternoon

Y/n was laying down with Elijah on their bed. Head on his chest and Elijah was reading a book while playing with her hair. He remembered how earlier she got him and he decided to pay back.

He quietly took a pillow and playfully hit y/n with it. Y/n immediately got up and took a pillow and hit him again. They both hit each other playfully a few times and then y/n started acting like she got hurt.

"Oh my god Elijah". Elijah immediately stopping and his face looked worried. "It hurts Elijah" y/n said. She was not really hurt it was just a tactic to get Elijah again. Elijah came closer to her pulling her in for a hug.

"I am so sorry darling, I dint mean to do it. I am so sorry is there anything I can do" as Elijah was saying this y/n hit the pillow again to his head and Elijah grabbed y/n tightly by her waist as she tried to run away.

"Let me go Eli." Y/n said trying to get out of his hold but was unsuccessful. " Omg! Y/n you really scared me" Elijah said holding more tightly and throwing her on their bed and he hovered over her as he held her down with his body weight. Elijah placed light kisses on her neck and fingers running up and down her sides."Elijah" was all y/n could get out of her as she was focused on Elijah kissing her on her sweet spot. Elijah smirked and started tickling her.

"Ah!! Elijah, okay sorry sorry. You win" y/n was breathless from the tickling. "Huh, now what do you think darling" Elijah said. " I am going to get some water" y/n said getting up from the bed." I can bring you some. You don't have to get up" Elijah said.

"NO!!!!! Now don't act all sweet you just tickled the hell out of me a few seconds ago". Elijah laughed at it burying his head in the pillow on the bed. Meanwhile y/n again took a pillow and hit elijah again. Y/n started running all around the house and Elijah chasing her. Both of them laughing

"Hey, wait wait wait!" Y/n said "Eli you are a vampire, I'd you want then you can catch me in a second why are you chasing me?" Y/n questioned."Oh you realised pretty quickly, darling". "We just ran around the whole house about 10 times now". Elijah said smiling at her.Y/n rolled her eyes at his sassy remark.

"Honestly I love it when I chase you around the the house and you are giggling and laughing mess. I was just playing around darling"Elijah said coming closer to her and sitting on the couch near her and pulling her in by her wrist and making y/n sit on his lap.

Y/n wrapped her arms around his shoulders and put her head on his chest. Elijah grabbed her chin and made her look up at him and looked straight on her eye before kissing her deeply." I love you y/n"

"I love you too Elijah" y/n was feeling sleepy "Elijah I am really sleepy let's get to bed"y/n said holding Elijah more tightly." Yeah ofcourse, all the running around the house made you tired" y/n just whined at this point.

Elijah carried her in bridal style to their bed and gently laid her down and kissed her forehead and went besides her to sleep pulling the comforter over them.

"Sweet dreams lovebird"elijah said seeing y/n already asleep.
