just a quick update on things happening in my life.

....things aren’t happening, basically. I’m in The Pit™ most of the time and I have little to no energy to do anything, much less be on here to deal with the duplicate anxiety that makes everything worse. all theatre events are cancelled, my classes are all online and I’m learning nothing, and I’m stuck in my apartment by myself with little to no human interaction. depression has a deep hold and I’ve never felt more like crying in my whole life and yeah. it’s rough. so if anyone needs me feel free to ask for my d.iscord, though I doubt I’ll be up for writing anything, and if any of y’all have animal crossing and wanna visit my island just send me your friend code (we have to be mutuals tho).

I hope you’re all staying relatively sane and treating yourselves well. be safe, wash your hands, maintain social distancing rules. see you on the other side, hopefully.

Missy going crazy on the Tardis because it’s on lockdown, and a Thirteen helping her cope... the companions just look on, terrified. For the lockdown drabbles... finally figuring out tumblr.

Missy slammed her hands into the TARDIS console, sparks erupting from the mechanical components as pain blossomed across her fists, lancing up her arms and into her chest. She ignored it, pushing it down in her sternum and continuing to smash and claw and pound at anything she could reach, a scream of white-hot rage and terror bubbling from her chest as she did so. After what felt like an eternity, she became dimly aware that her hands were smearing scarlet across the console with each blow she made, and the Doctor’s arms wrapped around her chest, pulling her firmly and insistently backwards with a surprising degree of strength.

“I know,” the Doctor murmured softly, and it took Missy a moment to realise she was speaking Gallifreyan. “I know, I know, I know. I know it’s going to be hard; I know you’re scared-”

“I’m not scared,” Missy snarled, or intended to snarl; the words were little more than a whisper. “I’m not, I’m…”

“You’re scared, and that’s alright. We can manage this. We can survive this. Now let me look at your hands, please. You’re hurt.”

Missy blinked hard, looking down at her hands which were now ragged and streaked with blood. Bruises, angry and purple, were already spreading across the skin, and she sucked in a shaky breath and then looked around herself. The console, despite her best efforts, was still largely intact, and stood beyond that were the three humans, clustered together and eyeing her apprehensively.

“She’ll be fine,” the Doctor assured them, looping Missy’s arm around her shoulders. “Don’t worry.”

“But, Doc…” Ryan began, only to have the Doctor shake her head firmly.

“We will all be fine. I promise.”
