This has been on my mind for long but I’m gonna do this - please reblog this if you’re comfortable with pre-establishing relationships. I do not mean “met at the grocery store two weeks ago” or “have a common friend”, but rather stuff like “have been best friends since kindergrden”, “go for a beer every friday”, “friends with benefits”, “dated in highschool”, “hate each other’s guts because -insert reason-”  etc. Something meaningful (but not necessarily shippy) and I mean with muns/characters you have not interacted with, because I cannot believe I am the only one who prefers jumping right into the heart of the human interaction.

She giggled lightly into her hand. “Heisuke-kun,” a slight pause, as she took in all of him, “your shirt.” how could he not notice the early spring air against the skin of his stomach?

Nodding her head in agreement, Chizuru sat back in her chair and looked out the window of the shop. “I’ve missed this.” she offered, keeping her eyes on the street, “you know...spending time with you?” she wasn’t selfish enough to bother him, when she knew how busy he was...Kendo...school...studying...so many other things that had recently taken him away from her. ‘I’m so glad Heisuke-kun...’ she couldn’t say it out loud, but she was happy that he had even suggested going on one of their crazy investigations...like the ones they went on in their childhood. “Thank you.”

Chizuru thought about it for a moment, was it really any of her business to go snooping into her soon to be vice principals business, before she even started at school? But if Heisuke was concerned for the man...then perhaps it couldn’t be all that bad? “if you think that it’ll be helpful to him, then maybe we should go see what’s going on.” She smiled at him, it wasn’t like this was their first adventure together... They use to do these sorts of things when they were younger, and had more time on their hands. “Alright, I’ll go with you Heisuke-kun.” she set her cup down on the table and reached out...touching his hand once more, a smile on her face. “besides, it couldn’t be to bad right?”

Pulling her hand away, to grab at the warm cup of coffee in front of her, she took a sip and hid her face behind the cup. She had known all the teachers, as her brother had gone to the school, and was the one who insisted she switched...but it wasn’t until something happened at her old school, that made her change her mind about things. “Hijikata-sensei seems a little scary.” she offered, trying to strike up conversation with him...he had brought her to their favorite coffee shop, but now he just sat across from her acting nervous. “Do you think, that I could get along with him?” she wondered aloud, worried about the hardened Vice Principle, everyone else seemed kind and accepting...but Hijikata seemed...like he could turn you to ice with a single glare. What was she to do if he didn’t like her?

I think Chizuru would be a cat person to be perfectly honest. I think she’d need something she could cuddle with, when she is feeling depressed or unsure of herself or situations she’s in. Plus cat’s are low maintenance when she has all those men to take care of~

Sometimes it was hard for the brunette to take him seriously, his actions on the edge of extreme clumsy, or he would brush her off to avoid certain topics and seem flighty. Heisuke however, had been acting even more strangely, after finding out that she was going to be joining him at Hakuou Academy, when the school opened it’s gates this coming spring...as a co-ed school. “It’s okay you know,” she laughed lightly, as she smiled at him, “It’s not as if you won’t be there to protect me from the horrors of Okita-senpai, or the other senpai’s.”

Carefully she reached over and took his hands in hers, “I’m just glad I get to spend more time with you Heisuke-kun.” she offered him a warm smile. Sure they lived next door to each other, but between school and his Kendo practices...they barely had time to hang out. “Now I don’t have to make up an excuse to come over here,” she offered with a shrug, “I might be a year younger than you senpai,” she paused to tease him just a little, “but you can always help me with my homework.” the thought of it all made her so excited.

“This is going to be the best school year ever.”
