Not only is Elsa the mother to a growing young man, she is also the caretaker of her ailing father. When she started suffering from stomach pains, she turned to natural remedies, hoping they would help. “I was afraid to go to the hospital,” Elsa said. “It was strange for me to go to the doctor. My family was always treated with natural medicine.” But the pain did not go away. Then, Elsa learned about a cervical cancer prevention program in her community that offered free PAP smears to women in need. She attended a medical clinic, and thanks to Operation Blessing’s partners, received the test she needed. It revealed a condition known as cervicitis, which can lead to cancer if left untreated. But because of your faithful support, Elsa is instead on the path to wellness. Prayer Point: Pray for families who are unable to access modern medical care due to distance, poverty, or lack of knowledge. Please pray that, thanks to continued support from our donors, Operation Blessing can reach more people with much-needed medical aid—free of charge!#PhotoPrayerOfTheDay #CervicalCancerPrevention #Peru

Baby Manu rests in his mother’s arms, casts on his legs. When he was born in India, his mother rejoiced at his birth before seeing his twisted feet. Her heart broke for his future.
Manu’s mother feared her son would never walk. She spent three months worrying about her son, but having no idea how to help him.
Then Manu’s aunt came to visit. She was familiar with clubfoot, and directed the family to Operation Blessing’s partner, MiracleFeet. Thanks to our gracious supporters, Manu began his treatment via the Ponseti method—a gentle, non-invasive series of casts and braces to correct the feet.
After just the second cast, Manu’s mother could already see the difference in her son’s feet, and her hope for his future was restored! Thank you to our supporters for making a miracle possible for this mother and child.
Prayer Point: This Mother’s Day, pray for mothers around the world who simply cannot afford the medical care their children need. Pray that faithful supporters will make it possible for Operation Blessing and partners to provide help, hope, and healing.

Four-year-old Nicol is shy and small for her age. She suffered from several illnesses and missed school a lot. When she was diagnosed with anemia, her mother did not know what to do.
“I cannot stand the fact that my little Nicol has anemia,” she said. “I don’t want her to suffer.”
Thanks to Operation Blessing’s generous partners, Nicol and her classmates were enrolled in a special program to help with this condition. She received medication, as well as a daily meal at school filled with protein and nutrients.
Now, Nicol is no longer anemic and her family has learned how to eat healthier.
“She is not absent anymore,” her mother said. “She comes every day and participates as much as she can!”
Prayer Point: Pray for children living with malnourishment and anemia. Pray that caring partners will give to support programs like this one.
