Ok actually i should grab some screenshots of my favorite spots in the camp in psychonauts 1. Call me a dreamer but i look at some of those spots and am just filled with so much excitement looking in the out-of-bounds areas and the skybox or whatever. Like the fact that the bridge from the cabins to the main area is so fucking TALL and you look down and can see a creek and the trees so far down it’s sooo fun to look at dude. I need to go on a hike at Whispering Rock Psychic Summer Camp.

something that is very annoying is when i complain about proshippers not tagging shit is that everyone assumes i want all of them to die an angry puritan death or that i don't have anything filtered. i have 30+ filtered tags and don't give a shit about proshippers on a wider basis. literally not my business. but when you go out of your way to put your proship art on my dash -- i.e., refuse to use any of the numerous proship tags to describe your art, maintag shit w/ none of those tags, come up with leetspeak workarounds for the words rape and incest or whatever... then yeah, it's become my business. you handed me this plate and you're mad when i throw up on it. because it's not a matter of being grossed out or uncomfortable for me. it's a matter of being so triggered i can't do anything besides lay in bed and hallucinate being attacked all day. it's a matter of being put back in the hospital because i had a psychotic episode. and yes, that sounds ridiculous, but it's true. i don't want this either. and it shouldn't be so difficult for you to just. tag something.

i will note, this is a much bigger problem on twitter & instagram, where there's no meaningful way to block content you don't want. and that's an issue with the social media itself. but like. you can't come up with another tag for that aspect of fandom a la undertail? you can't put a spoiler?

and the amount of ppl who do this to "get back at puriteens" is disturbing. at a certain point it's just like... you have internet beef with a child. you have already lost

it's really funny to me that people want ao3 to ban rape play fics etc but there's already countless websites that ban all the shit they want banned. they even use ao3's open source code. like cmon. "there's no one over there" 1) yes there is 2) you can post your fics on ao3 & other sites if it's audience you're concerned about.

the ao3 website is definitely not as intuitive as ppl insist it is (and yes, i do just click on buttons to see what they do, and i read the guides. it's still confusing to me. almost like i might have some disabilities that impede upon my ability to comprehend information...) and people are really condescending about it if you don't understand something on ao3. but like. you can block tags. it's about as effective as it is on tumblr, which is to say, about 90% of the time. 10% of the time people try to evade the tags on purpose

(if anyone happens to remember the name(s) of these reskinned ao3 websites, i'd be much obliged)

this is assuming its on art you normally wouldn't jump to reblog. i myself only rb stuff i really really like so .

The 'rude/demanding' tone would be stuff along the lines of "if you like but don't reblog I'll [threat]" which i see surprisingly often, both serious and more silly
