So, y'all must know how much I love cult aus by now, yeah? Well I think Stardew should get one too! (Honestly, all the fandoms in my list will probably have a cult au at some point)

In this au your grandpa was the old cult leader but after he passed the Valley has been leader-less! The only thing that's been keeping them going is Lewis' temporary leadership and the promise of you. Your grandpa had gotten tired of taking care of the Valley so he faked his death and gave you that little letter with the deed to his house in the Valley

And yes, you heard that right, your grandpa isn't actually dead in this one. He just faked it so he could go hang out and probably hook up with Mr. QI

After leaving Joja you go through the same stuff as you do in the vanilla game. Lewis and Robin welcome you, show you your now slightly dilapidated farm, and bid you adieu. The reason your farm is in such a state when you get there in this au is because it's kind of a holy place to the towns folk and the magic soil makes stuff grow like crazy

All the dateables are available for you of course but with how much everyone loves you anyone in the valley is yours for the taking honestly. Harem shenanigans are also greatly encouraged :3

when i came out as trans i had an old friend from my church days message me to congratulate me and ask me for my name and pronouns. and i was shocked tbh cause he was such a head-deep-up-the-church’s ass kind of guy so i was super wary.

and after digging a little deeper i found out that he was very supportive of transness, saying that trans men are men and trans women are women

BUT

he also believed in the church’s gender roles meaning that trans women had to marry men and be submissive wives and trans men had to marry women and be strong christian husbands.
