i know that "unalive" is part of larger worrying trend of self censorship but if you really are in a situtation where you have to avoid the words "die" or "kill" the english language already has centuries worth of much better euphemisms. the iconic and perennial "six feet under"? the lovely imagery of "pushing up daisies"? "shuffle off this mortal coil"????? literally anything from the monty python dead parrot bit???? you have so many options. please try to be more creative at least

ok, yes. gōnghé, which is…an abbreviation for “industrial cooperative”? Like it was just a term for a worker-run organization? A specific U.S. marine stationed in China interpreted it as a motivational slogan about teamwork, and as a commander he got his whole battalion using it, and other U.S. marines found those guys so exhausting that it migrated into English slang with the meaning “overly enthusiastic”.

a weird thing is that we got waves of people going "who cares if its cringe or youre annoying! have fun!" but no one really learned how to accept the fact that some people will find you annoying or think your art or your work or posts or anyrhing sucks and thats ok. rather it just became a weird "if people think youre annoying theyre just morally bad. let people enjoy things!". like no i think this yes man only biome sucks and people are allowed to not like artstyles and shows and media and other things

wondering if (undiagnosed) OCD is causing my delusions or if i happen to also have an entirely separate delusional disorder

#i know they're not intrusive thoughts. my delusions are very distinct from those #my fear of losing things and urge to run over pedestrians are far different from thinking im psychic #or that someone's hiding behind the drawn shower curtain. like there's very little correlation if any #which makes me think they ARE caused by two different things #yeah my brain is a whole mess. it's a wonder that i come across as just a quiet but otherwise pretty normal person #if anything i just have a LOT of self-control. which is good in some respects and bad in others
