While there is no EXACT SET IN order one has to complete the gym challenge in Paldea like in other region, there is a sort of recommended order / difficulty level that most students follow ( Cortondo gym → Artazon gym  → Levincia gym, etc. )

During Celeste's first time loop / first attempt at the gym challenge, she actually trained HARD before she attempted the first gym and even then, she nearly wiped. It wasn't until she talked to Nemona until she realized her mistake.

She accidentally made a wrong turn and challenged Artazon gym first instead of Cortondo gym.

Thankfully, her next gym battle with Katie was NOT AS BAD as the one with Brassius.

She also challenged Mela first by accident and Penny didn't bother to correct her; thinking she was just REALLY confident.

He may have been taller, but that didn't necessarily mean much, considering how nervous the young man looked when being questioned so directly. Hands held up, a defensive move to put at least some sort of barrier up between himself and the stranger.

But the Wild Pokémon never were an issue to him, he didn't fear them. Rarely he'd simply tell them he's not a threat and they'd move on with their lives. Or in the more common case.. they'd run from him.

Something he'd gotten so used to that it barely crossed his mind when he'd head out 'seemingly' alone.

"Well.. It's usually not a good idea to you know.. sleep in the streets." He flinched.

"So I figure I'd head out, find a place to camp for the night, you know..?" That seemed like such an obvious thing, at least to him. He lacked an official Id, and well.. a good deal of money, so it wasn't like he could just sleep at a Pokémon Center.

He didn't expect to be questioned over it.

"Yes, I'll be fine, positive!" He seemed a bit confident in his words.

"Like I said, Wild Pokémon don't bother me." A bit of a nervous chuckle under his words as he muttered a tacked on- "They usually avoid me, so.. not much of an issue." But he had to pause.

"Hold on, you're.. not with some law enforcement, are you? I only just came to the Region the day before, so.. If you guys have.. What is it called." A pause.

"Such as rules on being out late? I'm sorry.. I didn't know." If so he would have headed out much, much sooner to find a place to camp in the wilds.

ʚㅤ★ㅤɞㅤ˗ˏˋㅤMaybe she shouldn't have been worried about a random STRANGERㅤ—ㅤbut she's seen too many people be attacked by rampaging Pokémon. Most of them being Paradox Pokemonㅤ—ㅤbut she still knew it could happen with ANY Pokemon; present or future.

This was not the first time, likely would never be the last time someone scolded him of just.. walking out into the Wilderness without any weariness or strong Pokémon to defend himself with.

"I know it.. looks weird to just be, going outside this late but, it's no big deal!" Because you know, it was normal for fresh faced trainers to wander into the wilds of Paldea where there are known groupings of relatively strong Pokémon! Especially after the sun has long since gone down. But he seemed to legitimately not have much of care for the fact he was just walking out to simply explore. Not caring about what may lay in wait.

Well, he knew at least that Wild Pokémon wouldn't bother him.

"The Wild Pokémon won't bother me, I swear I'll be fine." It was hard to explain to most. Then again, he often saw others just fighting their way through when he'd just politely ask to pass through places. Most were.. pretty understanding or just kept far enough away from him. It was what HE was used to.

Maybe it was because all of his partners were currently resting in their Pokeballs, in his shoulder bag? That he didn't currently have one out by his side that made it look like he was alone?

Also as so far, most of my followers are from B/SD, a little more info about her B/SD verse.

Celeste is a seemingly normal student going for the STEM track and for the most part, keeps to herself. It's pretty easy to think that she has no friends and the reality is thatㅤ—ㅤshe HAD friends.
