Veronaville Capp Script Fix

I realized that I’ve never been able to play the Capps scripted event in Veronaville… no one has! Due to a Maxis oversight, every Veronaville neighborhood contains a token in the Capp lot telling the game not to run the script. The fix is very simple: delete the token!

Load Veronaville in SimPe -> Neighborhood Memory -> Debug -> Select “Lots” from the drop down list -> choose 0x…34 -> Tokens -> remove ”Controller - Game Scripting” , commit and save. 

The script plays out exactly as described in the Prima Guide, but now you can experience it for yourself.

Blossom Moonbeam / Crystal Moonbeam / Hiroki Moonbeam Blossom and her family toured around Central Simerica for a while, performing music at lunar festivals under the name “Crystal and the Moonbeams”. After a legal disagreement over the name of one of their albums (“Gaia Online”), they packed away their instruments and settled down in the suburbs. In the present day, Hiroki is a music teacher at the Strangetown Military School (he hates his job) and Crystal has patented her own line of organically-farmed, 100% cruelty-free Cowplant Milk (sold from the back of her truck in the parking lot of any local grocery store).

Story Progression Mod - Open Beta!

So here it is! What I’ve been working on for the past few months! 

This mod attempts to add Story Progression into The Sims 2, kind of like in The Sims 3.

Current features include:

Aging: Inactive Sims will age up and die of old age.

Job Progression: Unemployed adult Sims will get jobs based on their interests and personality and progress in those jobs.

Relationship Progression: Inactive Sims will make friends, get in romantic relationships, get engaged and eventually married.

Pregnancies: Inactive Sims will get pregnant!

University Progression: Inactive Sims will go to university, pick majors based on their personality and interests and graduate.

Gender Preference: Inactive Sims will roll gender preferences.

Aspiration Progression: Inactive Sims will have varying levels of aspiration score.
