if Dream is raised by a third party (of sorts but especially now since Dream is no longer on the „Good“ (Ink) or „Bad“ (Nm) OR „neutral-bad“ (Error) side) it‘s possible he very quickly grows out of his people-pleaser behaviour. Like he‘ll please (whoever third party is) to an extreme but everyone else? not important

like okay let‘s say Dream wasn‘t found by Lanny or Neil or Nightmare or Ink but instead someone completely different who had other goals and was very smart. Someone that didn‘t have just world domination or the like as goal. If they had told Dream they‘d freed him, Dream would feel indebted and they could use that as extra boost.
