man why do people get so weird when it comes to f1 drivers drinking??

they’re all grown men, they’re allowed to drink if they please. they’re all of age so there are literally no issues

the twitter and tiktok fangirls (tiktok especially) are going fucking insane right now because lando celebrated kings day and had a drink. he’s way more disciplined day to day (diet, exercise, etc) than any 24 year old I know, so i’m not surprised that he wants to just let loose a little

he said years ago that he doesn’t drink much, and people have somehow twisted that into this idea that he’s stone cold sober always and so it’s apparently an absolute scandal that he’s drinking with friends on his day off ??

I think the responses to a 24 year old man getting drunk are very telling of who is behind some of these fan accounts (aka children lol) because most adults understand that alcohol is simply a part of life, whether you choose to engage with it or not
