Gods, she never realized the severity of her condition until she was actually seen by someone with more medical knowledge than herself. Isadora's morning was spent treating her wounds and being told that bed rest was all she would see for the foreseeable future. Isadora didn't mind the idea? It gave her plenty of time to reflect on her actions this last month.
She asked if any letters had been sent to her and if the staff could bring it to her so she could pass the time reading them. They were happy to obliged, and before she knew it, a small stack of letters on the nightstand beside her.
Most were just asking where she had been, that it has been way too long without a letter, and everyone back home was worried about her, Isadora frowned.. she was ready to throw all of this away??
She hears footsteps approach her before a familiar voice rings in her ear.
"Harken?"
Shocked that he was here, Isadora placed the letter down. Something unexplainable build up inside, she tried her best to smile- to hide what she was truly feeling. Yet the tears were clear indication it failed "Gods Harken- I'm so sorry..." guilt was in full control."I can't face you after everything - everything that I have done. It's not fair to you" to her. Everything she said made sense, she didn't think for a second if he understood.

"Lachesis?" Isadora had been here alone for a while, taking in the serenity and quietness of it all. She wasn't expecting anyone else to be here. There was a small table nearby, there laid a pen and book, seems she was writing something on her lone time
"I'm sorry, I was writing a letter for back home" Isadora admits, giving a small smile. "As for how I'm doing..." She frowns, her guilt still weighted her down. To the point she was worried about what her dreams would show her if she were asleep. "I'm fine. But... how are you?" It was a lie, but why should she plague others with her own issues, ones she caused herself?
"Did you want to stay here? I can leave if you so wish... I wouldn't want to be in the way of anything, " Isadora admitted- letting her worried thoughts take over her normal personality. Lachesis may have forgiven her.. but she could never forgive herself so quickly .

With the coming of peace, it allows people time again to enjoy leisurely pursuits. Art appreciation and games return. One noble re-introduces an old deck of cards, each painted with a monster, spell, or trap, to the people of Garreg Mach and the game spreads like wildfire again. Everyone scrambles to dig out their own decks, or gather new ones, and become the most powerful summoner on the continent. Merchants and artists even begin to sell new sets, breathing life into the game for those who had played it the first time, and providing a fresh entry point for newcomers as well. Care for a game? [Grants Authority +1]
The sun felt like a blessing today. For once she feels as if everything her eyes laid on were real. It felt good to be in reality again. Isadora walked by a couple of people who gathered around in small groups. Curiosity got the better of her as she passed more and more of these tiny group. Gods she felt old- she didnt understand what was happening, why they were shouting or flipping their cards so dramatically, but it seemed everyone was just eating this up.
Ultimately , she decides to find out what these people SEE in this game, she makes her way to the market. The long lines twisted around corners to get cards, people around cheered or cried depending on what they got-- it was all insanity to the knight.
"Miss! I see youre curious about the game eh? Well, I happened to JUST get out of line and out of the PURE kindness in my heart, wish to give you my old deck" the man's voice surprised her as Isadora turned to look at him "Why.. would you give you old deck away?" She asked, clearly not trusting the man.
"Oh please! The one I got is so much better and the one i currently use is still good… it'll only cost a few gold.. i can even teach you!" Well Isadora was interested in learning… what's the worst that could happen? …. She shouldve known. When Isadora finally gave the man his paymet after her morning was eaten up by these "lessons" he disappeared with the gold AND the cards. She felt like an absolute FOOL as she stood there, feeling the shame wash over her

In the midst of rebuilding both towns and relationships, there are those who would yet seek to cause trouble: namely, the notorious Hag and Mag. They've been appearing in wanted posters all over Faerghus, and it appears their capture - dead or alive - will fetch a pretty penny. Will you go on behalf of the church, or is the bounty perhaps more appealing than your academy wages & grades?
Being sent out after the hell that she had experience wasnt exactly what she had hoped for. She decided to take a different view with this new task, that it is simply a way for her to avoid… everyone who she had encountered with while still stuck in that illusion. Isadora was better after medical staff checked her intensive before leaving, making sure she was… fit for travel.
What she was not expecting is that someone else joined her. She had originally hoped it was just.. her, by herself.
"So… Did you want to come along? or was it simply no choice and the assignment was thrown on to you." Isadora didnt mean to be harsh with this question, she was curious-- he didn't look to well himself "Ah.. the name is Isadora. Its great to meet you" suddenly she felt as if her first question was rather rude, and so she believed if she introduced herself it would be seen in.. better lighting.

It was strange to be on the enemies' side. When the battle had started, Isadora found herself naturally moving towards the villagers of Rusalka. How could she? Turn her weapon to the members of her team as if they were nothing but a roadblock needed to be clear. As if moments before they weren't together in this struggle, regardless if they agreed with her choices or not. Isadora felt terrible behind her neutral expression, but she didn't dare look towards her ex-allies in fear they could see the same she felt in her eyes.
Yet here she was, by the side of people she didn't even know if they were real or not. Here she stood, wondering where exactly did she go wrong? Had she failed somewhere along her path to make her do such rash decisions? Was it selfish to be this way? Isadora did not wish to swing her axe at all during the battle. On the outside, she looked so calm and content with her decision. Yet inwardly, there was nothing but a storm of emotions.
The first attack she received was by... ah.. what was his name? It was here that she realized she should've branched out to more of her companions that first week. It was here she saw the birdman's state, similar to Harken, who now floats idly beside her. She wonders if he saw her initial shock, her uncertainty. Those who were cast to the outside mercilessly... could they all have reached that point ?
Hearing her name shortly after Isadora turned to the source.
“I would ask that you rejoin us or stand down.” Another who she couldn't recall their name.. but Isadora knew she only meant well. "To stand down would be everything I know as a knight," Isadora responded, a frown is seen, clear as day "Do not hesitate - I'm nothing but a traitor, I understand what will happen on this battlefield. Please... fight me as foe and not as a friend." Yet she watched as the blonde woman missed her as well, she glanced over towards Celephais. It was their doing that the rest had become this worn down. An unfair fight to her eyes.
Again, she hears words spoken to her "Please? We're a team! Stronger together! We need you!" Chrom was his name, she remembered him during an assignment they did not too long ago. To turn her axe against him felt sightly bitter. "Chrom.. I--" did Isadora even have a good reason to give him? The sound of their weapons clashing loud, loud enough that she couldn't even hear the response her mind had given her.
Chrom 8/10HP hits Isadora 10/12HP with Sealed Falchion [Roll: 5 + 2 = 7, -3.5, Isadora 6.5/12HP]
This was war, this is how battles go. Friends turn to foe in a matter of seconds... so why?
Isadora 6.5/12HP counters with Steel Axe [Roll: 16 + 2 - 8 = 10; -5.5, Chrom 2.5/10HP]
Why did it pain Isadora to do this? Could it be fear? Fear that if she suddenly changed her "allies" would not be to happy with her? Or perhaps that her friends would not forgive her after this. Oh Harken... we're really in it now
Chrom 2.5/10HP follows up with Sealed Falchion [Roll: 8 + 2 = 10, -3.5, Isadora 3/12HP]
Despite weakening the Blue Lions student, Chrom was still able to get another hit on her. She slammed her axe to the dirt, leaning on its handle for support. "I'm sorry" was all she mumbled.. unsure if he could hear her or not. She could not fall here, what would even happen to her? It's here that Isadora decides not to let her thoughts wander, to pick a side whether it's right or wrong. Her hand twitched slightly as she placed it over her heart. A sudden rush of energy surged forth within her, looking over at the ghostly figured of her beloved, a fake that won her broken heart. The same energy came from him as well, in her hand, she now held a sword-- one she never carried prior.
Isadora 3/12HP synchronizes with Harken!
It was too much for Isadora to pick someone to attack, and perhaps "Harken" could feel her hesitant behavior. So he made the choice for her instead. She turned toward Lachesis- one who she knew well and respected. While Isadora's mind panicked, knowing what she was about to do, her body did not stop in its tracks.
Harken 3/12HP hits and hits Lachesis 7/12HP with Brave Sword [Roll: 10, 12; -9, Lachesis 0/12HP] Lachesis is defeated!
"No.. no I-" Taking the life of another innocent-! Her conscience is still weighted down over the murder of Holst. Now, it has another anchor tying it down. Stepping back from the crime she had committed, she felt the unwanted graceful feeling of her wounds being healed, undeserved in her eyes.
Mairenn 15/15HP heals Isadora 3/12HP with Physic [Roll: 1; +3, Isadora 6/12HP] Mairenn 15/15HP heals Isadora 6/12HP with Physic [Roll: 17 - 4 = 13; +6, Isadora 12/12HP]

She was surprised to see Harken's ghost like figure stand next to her. This was strange and something she would not get used to in the middle of battle... but for now, it works. At least she has free movement and range without an additional body holding her back.
Villager C 0.5/10HP targets Isadora 12/12HP with Bulky Hatchet [Roll: 18; hit! -2HP Isadora 10/12HP]
The stinging pain that shoots through her body brings Isadora back from her mind. Her hand covers the wound, and she quickly reacts with a strong strike of her own.
Isadora 10/12HP counters Villager C 0.5/10HP [Roll: 16 + 4 = 20; -2.5, Villager C 0/10HP]
Villager C is defeated!
"Striking while the enemy is distracted... a cowardly move, but... one I should've expected." Isadora mumbled, looking down at the villager. She wonders if their mind is filled with panic at the idea of death... or if they finally feel at peace.

Everyone else seems so sorrowful to attack these people, she cant blame them for feeling such a way. Taking a life, real or not, is still terrible to do. Isadora closed her eyes, mumbling grace before she takes her axe and gives a look around to see which target she should go after.
There, stood one, an archer? perhaps, its hard to tell with the fighting going on around her. Now that Isadora thinks about it- fighting with an aditional body hung over her shoulder would be much harder to do the normally. If she had her horse it wouldve been much easier to fight.
She rushes forward once Katarina was a safe distance away, swinging the axe towards the villager.
Isadora 12/12HP misses Villager E 6/10HP with Steel Axe [Roll: 5; Miss, Villager E 6/10HP]
The villager saw her coming however, despite being injured was able to quickly move out the way. Isadora came to erupt stop, dust kicking up as she blows strands of her hair off her face. She shakes her head, and quickly tosses Harken's corpse off to the side, it was easier if she didnt have him holding her back.

Eir's outburst surprised Isadora. "You..-?" She chose not to ask about motives at a time like this. She looked over at the body-- wishing it was Harken before she ultimately turned and looked away. "Let's just take it. Someone probably moved it so we can do the same." Once the tarp had been thrown over the body, Isadora adjusted the tarp onto the wyvern.
"I'm sorry-- I hope you don't mind." Isadora mumbles before watching Hilda climb on. "Oh-- wait, you want.. ok. I see." She easily mounted herself on the wyvern. She was used to horseback - but this? This was new, so when they landed, Isadora found herself rather wobbly.
"Ah... I see it, it's over there. Just... give me a minute"

"Hey-- where are you going?" Isadora asked, walking behind the student. She thought they were heading towards the tower.. but it seems something else had caught the attention of one of her companions. "This isn't exactly the place to run off like that." Isadora scolded the pinkette "What did you even see in here?" She asked.
When Isadora looked around the room, it just seemed like a branch off from the main path they were on she almost deemed it a waste of time until squinting, deep in the gloom she thought she saw a figure, curiously she took a few steps forward.
Movement -- 3
She stopped suddenly, her eyes widening. Did the figure.. move? Or maybe it was just a trick of the eye. Not willing to test it out, Isadora cleared her throat. "There's something up ahead." The knight stated, turning her head to look towards her team.

"Theres something up ahead, we can head that way"
Isadora rubbed her head, dealing with these villager was nothing more then a headache. She and the rest of the team walk over towards what seems to be just a pile of junk lying in the middle of it all.
Movement -- 4; Arrived at space 11!
"If the gods are on our side for once maybe there will be something here" She chuckles lightly, searching through the pile thoroughly.
Search -- 2; Spotted by a villager!
"uhmm." an unfamiliar voice spoke up and Isadora knew what that meant. She backs away from the pile as a villager walks towards them. "what are you guys doing?? are you looking for something?" the villager asks "I can help you find it! i know this place like the back of my hand" she said, rather proudly.
Isadora covers her face with her hands "Im simply looking for something that I lost... I already have all the help I need here" She motions to Hilda and Eir.

Isadora sighs, looking over at the man "Theyre helping me grieve the loss of my beloved, I dont really wish to have any extra help right now" She was particularly shaken by the rash actions of the previous villager.
Wait the villager out = 2. The villager leaves
The man gives a small wave "O-Oh of course, my appologies, I shall leave you 3 to it… be careful" he gives them a bow before walking off. Isadora let out a very exaggerated relieved sigh "Thank the gods" She mumbled, turning her attention to the lock.
Lockpicking = 3; a villager approches!
"Excuse--" A villager walked over, but Isadora very quickly whips her head around, giving a sudden aggressive smile "We are FINE. Thank you." The two stared at each other in silence, Isadora still had her hand on the lock.
""Wait"" the villager out = 1. The villager ""leaves"" flees
They... stand there awkwardly before suddenly turning around to leave. Once they were gone a good distance Isadora shakes her head "If Harken was good of anything.. it was to be used as a good excuse... ill give him that.." She mumbles standing up and moving away from the door.

"No, Its okay.. Thank you though" Isadora smiles, shes used to forcing smiles from time to time due to how she grewup. As a noble there will always be someone to rub against you the wrong way. The villager, however-- shook their head "You dont seem to understand me, this door is locked, I can show you where you need to go, there isnt a choice on the matter!"
light die roll --1 dark die roll -- 2
Isadora huffs, her eyes narrowing and her smile fading "Why? Can you not open it?" This sudden out burst was… out of character for Isadora, she knew this but it did not stop her outlash "We just want to get through this gate, its quicker this way like my comrade had said earlier" her eyes glanced over at Hilda, a little reminder that she had to stay calm.
But her thoughts are interrupted as in the corner of her eyes, she saw the villager lunge closer to her, instinctively she quickly backs away "What-- What are you doing!?" Isadora shouted. The villager kept their smile "Ill show you the way. Come with me!" They said, trying once again to grab Isadora's arm.
"Stop it! Get away from me!"

Isadora sighed a breath of relief, for once she's rather happy there wasnt anything found. The sight of Diarmuid dead body is still fresh on her mind-- and she didnt even know who he was.
Perhaps the idea to find Harken was slowly leaving her, just because she didnt want to see his body torn apart in such a way.
Movement -- 1
She was distracted with her thoughts and didnt move much, she heard what the pinkette had said but didnt say anything for a while. Eerie silence fit the village well enough-- but she cleared her throat "Finding something is inevitable, whether we wish to see it or not" 'It' being the dead, but what exactly would they even do once one is found?
And even worse, what would happen if the villagers found them? Would they end up next on the chopping board? Or perhaps casted to the outside? What if they couldnt find their companions and end up…--
"Lets just keep moving."
