Genuine question, what is fat vs. chubby vs. plus sized? At least from your perspective? I've seen a lot people argue over which characters/OCs count as "actually" fat, or "just" chubby, or "just" big-boned or whatever. I feel like there is an honest difference, but I see a lot of people argue over it one way or another. Sometimes it gets confuzing, sorry.

From how I view it, plus size just means generally larger than the average person. Whether that means fat, extra tall, extra wide, etc. I use chubby in the sense that someone is a bit pudgy and has a bit more fat than the average person, but wouldn't be considered to be actually fat. Fat to me is past that.

These terms are all technically subjective to a point, so I don't think my perspective is objectively correct but that's just how I use these terms to describe my own HCs and such

Seeing fat DJ Cyber reminded me of a Japanese BRC artist who mentioned something like, "it would be interesting to see Devil Theory with the body of a sumo wrestler don't you agree?" and just. maaaan, never before have i been struck with such a strong urge to Art, even though i can't. or have the money to commission someone to draw that. but at least seeing other people not minding a BRC character being drawn fat still makes me very happy. :)

I might hop on that bandwagon cause that's actually so creative!!! my personal (and simplified) body type hcs for brc characters are that Felix, DJ Cyber, Benni, and Mesh are all fat, Bel, Vinyl, Coil, and Irene are chubby, and the Franks, Escher, Tryce and Devil Theory are all generally plus sized :o

I also think that both Faux and Solace have trouble maintaining weight and fall into the underweight category. It's a bit of projection on my behalf lawl

what canvas size do u use?

I don't use a singular canvas size. my brush is 2 pixels large and whenever I'm done drawing I just crop it. they're usually no bigger than 1000 pixels though

NON BINDING BEAT MY BELOVEDDDD !!!! i rlly love diversifying trans HCs with my characters when it comes to like binding, no op, different surgeries, how they take their hormones (or if they do at all), etc !! it's rlly fun!!!
