god hath no brainrot like a queer person into pokemon. anyway um. hi its richie an inspired eternity. rui and nene pokemon !!!!

general notes: -rui and nene travel together, nene does contests and rui does his own self organized research (basically acting like a disney princess in the wild. with bonus pkmn anime adjacent tomfoolery) -my general hc for pokedex entries is that the darker ones (ie ones about pokemon harming or kidnapping children) are more akin to urban legends and rumors (that's not to say pokemon WON'T do those things, but the rate they actually do so is not proportionate to the level people gossip about them)

nene: -primarily uses water/ice types, but also dabbles in butterfly/moth pokemon (this was to create just a bit more diversity in her team 😭😭😭😭 the butterfly association is her 3rd anni outfit redesign) -still childhood friends with rui -bbg you KNOW shes transfem (she/her), wlw leaning

rui: -slightly less strict on types. although the main pokemon he uses right now are different ghost types. he feels a bit of a kinship with the pokemon that everyones hates or are afraid of (he's fairly close with his absol for this reason.) -despite frequently being in and around situations with wild pokemon he manages to almost never get into life threatening situations -in any scenario where nene needs a second person for her contest, he volunteers. and he also still does technically act as a director in regards to suggestions for nene's contest shows -he actually does really well performing in contests but it doesn't really interest him to be in them so he only ever joins in to help nene -transmasc nonbinary (he/they) and mlm
