I wish there was a way to ask people "why can I not do that" in a way that makes them understand that I want to know the reason of why the thing I wanted to do cannot be done. I am aware that it cannot be done, I understand the function, the concept is not foreign to me. I am comprehending that the solution I had in mind cannot achieve the goal at hand. If I thought that I could reach the goal I wanted with the solution I have, I would not be asking about it here, I would be doing that as we speak. I do not imagine that the solution would magically start to work if I wrangled you to believe it. I am not disagreeing about the fact that it does not work. I am not trying to make you agree that it would work. I understand that it does not work, and I want to know why.

I want to know the technical function which causes this solution to not do the thing that I want it to do, so that I could work around the issue and come up with a different solution than the one that I currently have. If I thought that my solution worked, I would already be doing it, not trying to convince people that it works.
