This run is over.
Turns out I don’t have time to play a pinkerlocke right now. I’m tossing this run, and when I return I think I’ll play ahead a few months before posting to make sure I have time to play.

Here’s yesterday’s art featuring my boy Raggedskip! He named himself Ragged for the two scars on his chest. He trims his mane so they’re visible because he thinks they’re cool.
Also here’s a tiny traditional doodle that I wanted to keep but couldn’t clean up nice looking for some reason:

Day 2:
Even with the warning of its footsteps shaking the earth, there wasn’t enough time to escape. It crashed through the canopy, crushing trees beneath it’s claws. They scattered into the underbrush, fleeing for their lives. In its wake it’s true target was revealed: Sourglare, their only imperial. Does death strategize?

Day 377:
I think this is it. If I can't get that Gyre down quickly he can one shot both of them.
One down.
It’s been a pleasure. I have one more post to make before I drop off the map for a while. I’ve learned a lot from this, and it was a lot of fun for most of the run.

Day 376:
Great!
Took Kit and Steadfast for 50 battles on the Woodland Path. Steadfast is now level 7, and Kit is level 5, halfway to 6. They even found a piece of apparel!
Because Kit opened 2 new battlestones, and Steadfast only got 1, I gave her the mask, The layering is weird, but lets start with her.
She rolled a sword which is sick, and goes with having to cut through the wilderness mostly unassisted.
Kit’s starting apparel was the wing garland and round horns, alongside her inherited clawrings from her dad. Then on level up she rolled chest fluff, which I’d like better in red or purple. And gloves, that are mostly covered up and she won’t keep if she makes 10.
I’ll have to get lucky next time, but this isn’t necessarily the end. We’ll see.

Day 375:
The worst part of being alone is the loneliness, after that is finding a quiet place to sleep. The canopy never sleeps, so a hollow at the base of a trunk makes an acceptable den, but Kit is growing larger by the day, and soon won’t be able to merely hide from threats.
---
This material drop means Steadfast is still on the Woodland Path, That’s the best I could’ve hoped for for Kit’s introduction to the coli.

Day 374:
Could be okay?
Never mind... unless I can focus down one of them and keep starving defended?
RIP to my Sludge gal, Kit has only her grandmother now.
There goes Starving.
Not being able to run is really wrapping this run up for me. Then again, that was one of the easier Scorched packs. This party was pretty doomed I think.
The Hunt is survived by their last member, Kit who is a single hatchling alone in their desolate camp. Definitely statting her as a physical attacker, I can’t wait around to hope for a familiar drop and I need fighters to boost mages. Assuming of course Steadfast doesn’t level into scorched before she grows up.

Day 373:
SlickMane dragged her companions bodies into camp late at night, thankfully her niece is asleep as she arrives. Her mother comes as close to crying as she’s ever seen her, it’s just the three of them now. Well four, them and the starving runt, who could easily pass any day.
Slick cleans her claws before curling up alongside her niece, exhausted from her escape and the trip back. As her eyes close she sees her mother carry the bodies away, clearly to bury them. Sleep overtakes her swiftly, until she returns.
Her mother’s cold, scaly muzzle wakes her immediately, they lurch apart as she speaks.
“The runt is nowhere to be found. They must have left while I was away. We can look for them in the morning if you like.” SlickMane must’ve have pulled a face because she barks a tired laugh.
“Or maybe not.” Her mother knocks their horns together, grinning against tears.
“We shall be fine, you, and I, and the child. Together.”
----
Her mane is wet because she has Sludge.

Day 372:
I’m love this item it’s so cuuuute.
Ah fun time is over.
nvm actually!
Okay now it’s over. Seawatcher is dead, but can they finish off the pack?
Oh dear, their daughter is an orphan now. Her cousin finished the fight though so she reclaims some apparel, one piece from each.
Seawatcher/Strange Sight’s spike scarf goes to the Hunt’s chargeless newbie.
I’ll save Smoke’s breastplate or smokey claws for his daughter when she grows up, I haven’t decided which yet. ‘ll give her the Zeeba too guess.

Day 371:
His mate StrangeSight is in the throws of another strange dream, but no matter. When she returns she’ll surely have a lovely story to tell their daughter, or maybe a hint as to where they can find the prey he scented near his neice’s deathsite.
StrangeSight sees visions of dragons she’s never met. A Knight. A Snapper as tall as a tree, and burning to the touch. A Fae and a Spiral who call her mother. But she’s never had any Fae children, let alone Spirals! As she squints to see them clearer the tide closes in and she sees only darkness.
Kit squirms in her father’s grasp. Baths are so Boring!
------
Been feeling bored of stuff lately so I’m trying something new. Found a marker I like in CS and went wild with the sketchy stuff like usual, but this time no colors! I don’t mind it tbh. For future reference for myself, the marker mentioned is the mili pen.
