Sometimes you crave being understood, other times you crave the feeling of being above someone with your hand around their throat. I believe the membrane between the two of those is awfully thin and there's an intricate and impossible to understand link between the craving of someone on an emotional level and also on the most primal of levels, where it's just skin, friction, and body heat. I see poetry in the early mornings when the moonlight shines through the window and illuminates the condensation from the steam heat of the bedroom. Pinpointing the droplets, as we calm and cool down, lulled to sleep by the steady rhythm of a loved heartbeat.
