The interpretation of Rise Raph as a 'perfect responsible soft boy uwu' is so BORING I'm sorry, Raph is a rowdy adrenaline junkie with anxiety and I won't take this slander any longer

Raph secretly kept an enemy soldier in their actual literal house as a sparring partner. Raph glued his brothers together and dragged them out to fight crime. Raph once asked Leo to punch him in the face to prove he 'takes damage like a boss.' Raph tried to lift a school bus, twice. Raph offered to help his favorite wrestler beat his little brother up. When Leo suggests evacuating Bullhop, Raph says no bc the best defense is a good offense babey. Raph's idea of a 'friendly chat' with April's upstairs neighbor is to put on a black ski mask and go stand menacingly at their door. It takes Raph 10 episodes to conclude that they should MAYBE start training. Raph's plan to get a potentially priceless (and potentially FRAGILE) museum artifact is to punch a car in the middle of a busy street and also cut it in half with his brother still inside.

Raph's never met a problem he wouldn't try to punch in the face and does not know the meaning of the words 'excessive force.' He roughhouses with his bros and drags them out to fight villains and thinks any plan that doesn't involve an all-out brawl is boring and lame. He'll do anything to protect his family from harm and be a hero, but also he eats wet salami off the floor and once single-handedly destroyed a library.

I just adore how, at his core, Rise Raph is such a classic Raph—impulsive and stubborn and caring and passionate. He is a very sweet, strong, honorable guy who has a very powerful sense of personal responsibility... and he is also the exact kind of jock who throws you in the pool at a party without checking if you have your phone in your pocket first.

TW: Panic Attack/meltdown

Raph was having a breakdown. He knew it was because the leg of his bed broke off but he didn’t get why he was reacting so badly. He was on img uncontrollably, hiccuping and gasping and making pathetic little noises like head physical hurt. At first he was glad his brothers weren’t home, going to watch a musical from the rafters, but after a half hour of his meltdown he really wished they were with him. He couldn’t even feel ashamed or embarrassed as he got his phone and started to make a call, praying that if his father hadn’t heard him weeping he wouldn’t hear him on the phone either. As much as he loved him he didn’t want to be told a lesson, he wanted to have someone he trusted so he knew he would be okay. Raph was confused when he heard the cheery voice Casey Jones but quickly found he didn’t care that he clicked the wrong contact, as long as someone, anyone could help him. He doesn’t process Casey words, just stutters out a shaky breath and suddenly the tone of voice is changing to something more concerned. Raph takes several seconds to speak and when he does it’s barely understandable, a mix of ‘I need help’ and ‘I don’t know what’s happening’ that ends up being “ I don’t- help-what’s happpen-I-oh god what-“ Casey voice is calm in a way he’s never heard before as the sounds of movement and a window opening sound in the background, “Alright, Raph, I need you to tell me where you are, okay? Are you at home or on the surface?” Raph manages to say his in he’s room and as soon as he does he hears a grate open and the sound of feet running on damp ground. “Good, that’s good, Raph. You’re doing great. Are your brothers home?” Raph answer no with a whine he doesn’t recognise as his own. “Alright, bud. That’s alright, I’m on my way now, only a minute now. Can you tell me if you’re hurt?” Raph is confused at first, because it feels like he is but technically he’s not, “no?” Casey doesn’t answer but clearly is more concerned now. The next thing Raph knows is his door is being opened both quickly and carefully, a sweaty and pajama wearing Casey dropping his phone and coming to kneel in front of him. “I’m here, Raph. You’re gonna be okay, you always are. Can you try breathing with me? Just like when you meditate, yeah? In… hold for a moment, then out.” Raph tries his best, gasping several times before he eventually gets the hang of it. Without thinking he grabs hold of Casey’s outstretched hands and clings to them like a life line. Casey talks in a warm voice, helping him through even as he continues to cry, “you’re doing so good, Honey. I’m so proud of you, that’s it. In and out, perfect. Do you want me to call your brothers? Raph, Honey, do you want your brothers? It’s okay if you do, they’ll want to be here.” He nods a yes and only two minutes later his brothers are angering into the room and surrounding him, cuddling him and telling him he’s okay and they love and trust him. He’s grateful for Casey helping him and explains to all of them what a breakdown and panic attack is. It’s only when he’s falling asleep in a cuddle pile with his brothers that he realises that Casey called him Honey and even more alarming, he liked it.

when i say 'i want worse graphics', some ppl assume i mean 'i want stylyzed instead of realistic' then get mad at me for saying it wrong (???) so let me be clear:

i want worse graphics. i want the models topology to be a bit off, i want the rigging to have a few verts mis-weighted, i want the final model to not be accurate to the concept art cuz it would have been too labor intensive to make the scarf that long. i want the shading to do the thing where a real time character shadow is casting on top of another baked in shadow. i want whatever eases the devs workload and prevents crunch so they can go home to their loved ones and actually enjoy their life outside of work
