BEDTIME what a day I still feel quite destroyed by that interview lmaooo I feel bad for any of her current phd students because goddamn the intensity on that one. ah well I think at least no further interviews are going to be quite as intimidating in comparison so I see it as a net win hahah

#also it was a bit odd that she was very keen to talk to me #and then she spent most of the time telling me that the project wasn’t going to be feasible with the funding #but offered no solutions #I think that was the key thing really. she pointed out all the problems and offered no solutions #pro tip to anyone else looking for a supervisor #that is not a very good sign at all. lol #still sad BUT I continue my search in Switzerland and Germany #Good night all

post interview report back: I think I did ok BUT I do not think she is someone I will want to spend 3 years working with. lol. Extremely intense person. who was more interested in telling me was wrong with my proposal than how we could work together to make it happen. big red flag. very sad because the thing looked great but hey. That’s what interviews are for. At least I know hahaha. On to the next one ig 👍

also did you know that your laptop keyboard has a "turn off camera key" because apparently it does. minor panic as to why my webcam wasn't working but WE ROLL
