Disability assistance!

So I emailed my internal medicine doctor and we discussed getting me some assistance, especially until I can get a new physical therapist.

So here’s all the catches….. one, I do have a new job but my first check isn’t going to be full until June 7 and it is mostly going toward rent.

two, I will have new insurance through this job but at this time I am unaware of the carrier or start time for that. Or the coverage for that matter.

three, I do have state insurance at this time but my internal medicine doctors office doesn’t take it, so anyway you slice it, I have to pay out of pocket to see him.

He has confirmed that it is POSSIBLE to get my next provider to assist, but I would have to effectively start treatment over as my PT never took any X-rays of my back prior to my diagnosis. Because of this, the new providers are unlikely to complete the paperwork without going through everything I did with my PT and IM providers all over again. Not the end of the world but not ideal either.

My hope is that with help, I can raise the $230 needed to see MY provider who IS willing to complete the paperwork based on the diagnosis from my PT and our own work together.

I know I have asked a lot lately and for this I am sorry. I am trying harder than anyone can imagine to get myself to a place where I can self sustain AND maybe be a help to others in return one day.

needing help

okay guys, so the great news is that i got a job and im starting next week

the bad news is, with such a lousy weekly unemployment pay, my RENT is on track but my bills are NOT and they have finally caught up to the point of things getting turned off (or well, threatened but it’s gonna be soon).

I dont know when my first check is coming with the new job and I don’t know when my payments for the video game testing I do is or if I have any redbubble payments that are significant enough.

not to mention, I have a wedding to be in, in about a month and a half, so i need to have money budgeted for the time that I am there, since everything else (my ticket, my dress) was graciously already paid for by others (to whom I owe a debt, not just figuratively but they will be paid back at a later date).

So, if anyone can help out now, or in the next few weeks, you can help me keep things going until i get my footing with the job, which should, IN THEORY, only take a check or two, but until I get there, I have NO idea what the pay periods are and all that.
