Career Headcanon

Mario's got a wide range of vocations to speak of! Plumbing was his first love of course and he does a very good job of it. He's quite meticulous as he believes the work you do is a reflection of you like any good worker would think. Double and triple checking is a regular thing for the man.

As for being a so-called Doctor, he's definitely got the credentials but is a general practitioner. In layman's terms a family doctor. He can diagnose, prescribe treatments/prescription, and interpret test results for his patients. This would also include pharmaceutical science, given he developed his own form of medicine, the Megavitamin, and cured the common virus.

These are the most notable careers he's had, along with him being a construction worker in wrecking crew but we'd be here all day listing his vocations.

Well, I've come to a decision. Definitely not going multi-muse. I still feel as though this blog is Mario's & Mario's alone. What I will do though is make Ganondorf a sideblog. That'll come within the next few days, next week at the latest. I'll post a promo for it when that happens, just laying out my thought process as I go.

The tapping of boots occurred from behind the green clad plumber, complete with spurs and the clinging of a golden belt buckle. Seems Mario was gettin' ready to call someone out... his own brother. "Oi.....Luigi. Y'know, this-a town, Toad Town, ain't-a big enough for the-a two of us." Mario's tone seemed serious but this was all a ruse. A challenge really...could Luigi improvise??

"Preparing for Bowser? Guess his-a fame precedes him!" Not bad though. Anyone who waits until Bowser attacks to react is asking for trouble. Then again, maybe he'd have to see what kind of "prep" she was doing to maybe try and convince Peach back home... that would be for later though. Look at them talking business on the dance floor. "But whaddaya do when you've got-a free time duchess? There's-a got to be-a more to you. When I'm-a not jumping around I'm-a in my doctor's office for one. I like-a helping people."

Valentina smiles a bit as they dance while she listens to him talking about himself before she replied "Well in a way yes but there's more then just taking care of my people that I have to worry about, as you mention, I never meet Bowser but I learn of him so I want to make my kingdom is protected"

"Fiiine little bro, we'll prepare." As a man of action he didn't like slowing down too much. Then again, they were two halves of the same whole: Luigi was more for the finer details. "While you try and-a source us a book or three, I'm-a gonna work on getting us our uniforms! Since I-a know your size don't-a worry about it." That should be a good division of labor for now. They could work on finding supplies together. Skimming that (or those) book(s) would yield the knowledge they'd need.

"They do more than that," Luigi replied. "A lot more, bro."

He was far less confident they could simply fake it til they made it than his brother was. Plumbing was a job, a life-long vocation for those who did it as their trade. What if they messed something up while out playing pretend?

"I think we should find a book on plumbing to take with us. We can look at it if we don't know something. Our good looks will only get us so far."
