It’s really funny how like every single important character in Captain Laserhawk is either from a another Ubisoft title or based on something from another Ubisoft title except for Laserhawk

Laserhawk’s boyfriend Alex Taylor? Literally the main character from The Crew which out of all of them is the weirdest because they’re nothing alike (except Laserhawk does go on a mission of vengeance like Alex does in the game but Alex ends up not killing the person he wanted to kill)

Jade and her uncle? Main characters from Beyond, Good & Evil and the entire concept of Hybrids comes from that too

Just straight up WWE wrestlers but they aren’t Ubisoft so they don’t really count

Sarah and Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell

The entire DedSec crew from Watch_Dogs 2 although only 2 are name dropped other than Marcus

Very conflicted on whether or not I should make a Baldur’s Gate 3 fic series about my Tav’s backstory because my Tav is the dnd character I made for whenever I get to play actual dnd for the first time so I feel like I’ll ruin my experience or something if I go ahead and cover my character’s backstory in a written story before I get to experience covering it in an actual dnd setting

Replaying Baldur’s Gate 3 and I’m pretty sure The Emperor is the Mind Flayer in the first cutscene that infects you because not only does he look very similar to the Emperor unlike the ones on the Nautiloid, but there are dead Mind Flayers in that room that he looks down at. I could be very stupid and they say it was him in game or there’s proof that it wasn’t him so I don’t know.

When I’m playing Baldur’s Gate 3 and a companion’s bigotry of certain races comes out

#like Astarion makes bad comments about gnomes in grymforge #Wyll has an obvious bias towards goblins #and ​shadowheart is not shy about her dislikes of Gith #and there’s also Lae’zel who is Lae’zel but I don’t think she’s ever seen a race that wasn’t her own prior to the game #I don’t think Gale or Halsin or Minsc or Jaheria have any bad comments #but I wouldn’t know I didn’t use them much #baldur’s gate 3

The three things I would’ve liked to have in Baldur’s Gate 3 are that they should have more armor variations other than just different colors, their should’ve been way more background specific dialogue (like if you’re an Urchin you get the chance to talk shit about nobles or talk about being an orphan), and i think it would’ve been cool if we got “where are they now” endings similar to something like Fallout New Vegas because I really want to know what the outcomes of your choices were like what happens to Yenna if she’s alive? What does Astarion do after not ascending? What does Mol do later on her life if you killed Raphael?

I think it’s funny that Blood Dragon is an actual franchise within Ubisoft universe (Far Cry, Watch_Dogs, etc.) so the inclusion of things like Marcus Holloway, DedSec, Pagan Min, Sam Fisher, the Rainbow 6 parody guys, and an Assassin’s Brotherhood frog means that the writers of the series within the Ubisoft universe thought it would be a good idea to put a hacktivist terrorist group (I know DedSec are good guys that’s just what a lot of the public and people in power refer to them as), a literal drug lord dictator, a super spy who probably wasn’t consulted on being put in an animated series, a parody of an anti-terrorist task force (although this was probably some deal made by Harry prior to being shot), and a frog apart of a secret shadow organization (although this was probably an Abstergo product placement)

Characters like Rayman, the Rabbids, and the WWE wrestlers can easily be explained as product placement though
