UX/UI Desgner, Artist, & Writer with nothing to do, a twitter to run from, too many ideas, barely any confidence in anything, and not enough working pots of paint. Icon is by @kostarpup, who can be found on this site and also here: https://itpuddle.com/ Apologies in advance for any mistakes I make along my merry way.
i said i was gonna build my escher wyld runners and i done did it! they call themselves The Squatters, guarding the Eescher's claim to the salvage rich region of Bunningsium. Their leader is armed with a power sword and multimelta, and her lieutenant a flamer. the rest of their cadre comprises a pair of swordswomen, one armed with a hand flamer; a pair of swift footed shotgunners who stick around cover just long enough to blast chunks out of anyone foolish enough to be in the same spot; a pair of pistoleers, one who prefers precise work with a hand stubber and chainsword, and the other trying to put as many autopistol rounds down range as possible; and finally a machine gunner and needler rifle to provide medium range fire support to the rest of the team. im putting some thought into getting another escher squad to give them some autoguns and lasguns, maybe even kitbashing other weapons like a grenade launcher or missile launcher or something
Got another Infinity game with my O-12 peacekeepers today.
Went second and put down a very aggressive opportunity fire network, with an Epsilon Sniper and Gamma Feuerbach locking down my opponent's Shang Ji Invincibles, while an HMG-toting Omega trooper ripped through a Zhangshi team that was just a bit too exposed.
Opponent pushed hard but bounced off my reaction fire, failing to bring anything down in turn 1, giving me the option to push hard in turn. Finally had the Lynx shine with her plasma carbine, and the Betatrooper remote doctor pulled her back up and then used it's shotgun to finish off the last few Shang jis.
We called it early, and the other player is reviewing fireteam rules for a few procedural things he was doing wrong.
Local necromunda campaign is going great, started running Enforcers, but with a twist. They're just trauma team from the Cyberpunk universe.
They're real fun to play as a 3rd party to every fight. GM also allowed players to purchase "medical insurance" (i.e. bribe me with in game resources to not go after the main objective but ensure they don't get got by the other gangs).
One of my favorite things about Morrowind's unique flavor compared to other games in the series is how the Morag Tong (Morrowind's equivalent of the Dark Brotherhood) is actually a legally sanctioned organization within the province's legal system, as Dunmeri politics consider assassination a valid way of resolving political conflicts between the Great Houses because at some point they realized that a noble paying to get another noble assassinated is probably a better alternative for everyone than starting a whole civil war about it.
