A business leader and philanthropist with an impressive record of professional achievement and community involvement, Richard Waterfield currently serves as Co-Chairman of Waterfield Group and Chief Executive Officer of Waterfield Enterprises, a diversified global financial services organization. After graduating from Canterbury School and Culver Military Academy, he enrolled at Columbia University in New York, where he earned a BA in economics while working full time as a financial analyst for legendary bank stock analyst George M. Salem at Prudential Securities. Following Columbia, Richard Waterfield began his career at Goldman Sachs in New York City. He eventually left to become one of Wall Street's youngest hedge fund managers and proceeded to various achievements in the asset management, specialty finance, merchant banking, venture capital, and investment banking arenas before taking the helm at Waterfield Enterprises.
An integral part of the Waterfield Group throughout his career, Richard Waterfield, along with his brother and Co-Chairman, J. Randall Waterfield, continues to build upon the legacy started by their grandfather in 1928. Today, he oversees the group’s extensive international office network in the United States, Central America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region, ensuring the longevity of The Waterfield Private Equity Funds, Waterfield Financial Services, Waterfield Technologies, Waterfield Energy, Waterfield Asset Management, and Cappello Waterfield & Co., one of America's premier global investment banks.

On Dec. 4, 2018, Waterfield Technologies, a subsidiary of Waterfield Enterprises (www.waterfield.com), announced it was acquiring Digital DataVoice (www.ddvc.com), a provider of contact-center solutions across major industry segments. As a result of the acquisition, Waterfield Technologies’ focus on customer experience will be added to Digital DataVoice’s 400 enterprise system deployments.
The two firms will put together their expansive resources to become an all-in-one provider of contact-center service solutions with a strong track record of success, an industry-leading array of product offerings, and an experienced team knowledgeable of emerging cloud-based technologies. The new organization will have over 100 years of combined experience and over 1,000 deployed solutions in various contact-center verticals, making it one of the largest technology distribution and systems integrations in its industry.
