Information: Although both Dhawan girls were born in India, they spent most of their childhood and teenage years in Riverside where their parents were living to try and spread their business over America. Next to Kyra, her big sister was even more disconnected from the traditional views of her parents, and wasn’t afraid to hide it at home. She was always more outspoken and less afraid of her father than Kyra was -- she openly dated, dressed differently, and lived the American lifestyle to the fullest. That is also why she decided not to go back to India with her parents, no matter how much her father wanted to make her go. She stayed, even if that means she hardly talks to their parents anymore. What happened since is up to player, but one year ago she took Kyra in when she came back from India. Kyra has found her own place to live in by now, but I imagine the sisters are still close, especially now that neither of them is really talking to their parents anymore.

Information: While her parents were very traditional, Kyra herself lived a bit more open-minded and modern during her time in New York city. She even had a boyfriend ( behind her parents back ) -- I imagine they met when she was seventeen and still in high school. And even if she never brought him home and did not tell her parents about him, it was a very serious relationship, one that lasted for three years and probably would have lasted much longer if she didn’t move back to India with her parents. She broke things off, unable to live a distance relationship like that. She did not contact him since, too heartbroken about losing him. A lot of time has passed since, and now she’s back in Riverside. Background, story and what has happened since Kyra left Riverside are entirely up to player.

Age Range: Early 20s to early 30s would apply perfectly. She has three younger and two older siblings. I picture the younger ones to be one boy and two girls, and the older ones to be two boys.
Relationship: Two older brothers, two younger sisters and one younger brother.
Face Claim: Anyone who can more or less pull off to fit into this family works for me! I mostly like the idea of connecting them by dark hair, so some random ideas ( for all roles ) are: Logan Lerman, Nick Robinson, Jamie Blackley, Matthew Daddario, Adelaide Kane, Crystal Reed, Alexandra Park, Casey Deidrick.
Information: This is one big family. The Fairchild parents always wanted many children, but realized they might have gone a bit too far after the sixth pregnancy was over. Either way, the house was always full and loud. I don’t have too much set in stone here -- all of the stories for Margot’s siblings are up to player and to be discussed with me. The only thing that is set in stone for her is that her siblings often pushed her to do things for them, they influenced her and raised her to do anything to make someone else like her -- following anything somebody else says. Other than that, I headcanon that one night ( not too long ago ), she ended up totally wasted at one of her big brother’s places, cutting her hands open as she tried to make food in his kitchen. Her siblings sat her down the next day, telling her she needed to get it together and get a grip on her life. Now, I can either see that their siblings already lived in Riverside before that incident ( and maybe she was visiting them ) or that they decided to move here with her to support her as the tightly knit family that they are.

Information: There is not much background on this one. But I feel like Isabella thoroughly needs someone to kick her ass, make her feel loved, and be her family after she lost her entire real one. The only person she really lets in and trusts, so to say. She hates being lonely so she would have looked for someone to move in with her whether she can afford the rent on her own or not. I just imagine these two to be tight, to mess up and have fun -- and have the occasional roommate fights, you know the drill. Background and story for the character is entirely up to the player.

Information: He was Nora’s biggest crush in high school, but she was always too shy to approach him. Whether he did or didn’t notice her back then is up to the player. They met again in their early twenties, at a birthday party of one of the other students they went to class with in high school and hit it off immediately. A year later, he proposed to her. Nora immediately dived into planning her perfect wedding, having always dreamt of that since she started working with wedding dresses for a living. Most of his background story is up to the player, but I headcanoned that his parents died in a fire in their house shortly before the wedding ( but this / the reason why the wedding ended up not taking place can be discussed ). Nora postponed the wedding right away and tried her best to support him in his grief, but having grown up in Riverside, he couldn’t stand being around the town any longer and eventually broke the engagement and relationship with her off to leave town and get away from the memories of his parents haunting him. They haven’t spoken since. Why he returned to Riverside is up to the player.

Information: These two were great at filling clichés. Best friends all throughout high school and college, it took them until college graduation to realize that they were in love with each other, and had simply been too scared to act on it for years now. A very drunk graduation party led to one thing and then another, and after a few awkward encounters and dates, they eventually decided to be brave and take the step of getting together. It was the perfect relationship, one where the other was not only your soulmate, but also your best friend. Everyone would have used them as an example to describe the perfect relationship. They bought a small house in Orangecrest together, an engagement followed, again followed by a small ceremony in December that got them wed. They got a dog together, not rushing the whole kids thing -- until about three years ago, the pregnancy test showed up positive. A surprise for both of them, but one they didn’t mind. They were happy to have a child, ecstatic even. Not even the first few exhausting months after birth could ruin that. But the first excitement was soon shattered by a regular check up at the doctor that led to a lot of other check ups -- and eventually the diagnosis of leukemia. No one gave them much hope, and although they tried absolutely everything, their son did not survive his second birthday. Having to carry their child into the grave before he had really lived shattered both of them. While Seth tried to be supportive and didn’t show most of his pain in front of his wife, she fled from home and him, constantly telling him that he did not grief the way he did. Eventually, they couldn’t do it any more and divorce papers were filled -- leaving them not only with a lost son, but also with a lost best friend and partner.
