From the Teleprompter of New Energy Spiders Manager Arb Skynxnex
“Efforts to transplant colonies of the energy spiders… haven't been very successful.”
– Lando Calrissian
Massive scale spice mining and investing heavily on-planet needs an enabling environment and that is what we find here
on Kessel.
We’ve enjoyed excellent support from customs. We’ve suffered no demurrage. Also our thanks
must go
to the authorities who issued 10 million visas for the prisoner labour resource for
the project.
Without their fast response and rallying round we could kiss goodbye to our
recent successes.
We are very pleased with the performance of the mine, our gasifiers and glitterstim crackers and air
separation units,
We are confident our downstream targets will lead to greater upstream successes. Some days
I think
I will never be too old, other times I see through
my hands.

Victory of Sound
Isolated noise in bioelectric chamber
(168 x 143 dimensions set by viewer)
A line here demonstrates man's interest in the abstract representation of human and calligraphic forms. A procession of mourners with mask-like faces carries a body toward the viewer. A band of local Traskal tribesmen have coated it in goat fat. One of them is in the position commonly associated with blessing, pouring a silver trickle of water to the body’s lips. This is a medical procedure of sorts, designed to keep them awake. Although canvases vary in dimension, the feeling for music has become a signature material. Above them is a sand-filled sky. It looks almost green. The green is almost purple. This combination of colours is intended to stimulate a trance-like state. The atmosphere is informal yet unsettling, mundane yet mesmerising. It reflects the creator's interest in folk myths and the collective subconscious by hinting at possible relationships between psychedelia and spiritualism. The inclusion of a magnolia flower suggests the ruffling of the calm surface by hidden desires.

26 July 2014 – 1 February 2015: From Suffragette teapots to protest robots, this exhibition will be the first to examine the powerful role of objects in movements for social change. It will demonstrate how political activism drives a wealth of design ingenuity and collective creativity that defy standard definitions of art and design.
This is on my hitlist to visit. Wow.

Werner Herzog talking about a penguin going postal. I think he's my favourite famous person with deep Weltschmerz. He'd be a lovely guest.

I’m afraid. We’re fairly rustic here (yay, rich weirdos) but your room is somewhat famous; it’s meant to bring luck (the bannister’s lucky). Oh yes, the wedding parties always bag the Godfrey suite. And by the way, please ignore the dentist (that man has no neck) and do not accept his care....
