I wonder if the painting from mirror room on the second floor is going to be important or it's just there for us to solve a puzzle. We still don't know who was pictured there. The one illustrated in it wore a hat (and you know who has a fedora in the end of emotion route)... While that "person" was shot during the puzzle, which has interesting implications (maybe it's connected to Hades incident). Not to mention that the whole deal with the mirror room was to make everything symmetrical, a person and a doll. What if it's connected to Sara's dad somehow, hinting that something like shooting happened to the real version, hence the blood? While the other painting in this chapter has Meister on it, another guy with fedora whom we actually meet later and who is suspected to be related to Sara's father (if he's not him). Quite likely Meister is the doll of Mr. Chidouin (or vice versa, Mr. Chidouin is a doll when Meister is the real deal). So maybe in final chapter not only Sara's dad will appear, but this painting from mirror room might be connected to it, showing duality of Mr. Chidouin

Having rewatched the first chapter I genuinely don't understand how Shin could expect to be trusted during first main game. Like the guy admits that he lied twice, one of which about voting in second trial (which caused Mishima's death, so at that point he was likely responsible for one death already!). Even if Sara wasn't universally loved, he looked suspicious in comparison to nearly everyone. The fact that the group was willing to listen to him at all is a miracle, but he had no real proofs about Sara's involvement and he shouldn't have been that surprised when nobody believed him

when doctors ask if i have any history of cancer in my family and i have to say that yes my grandmother had 2 types of gastrointestinal cancer and they're like oh wow okay so we'll keep an eye out for that but i'm like no it was probably just all the nuclear radiation and they're like ok hm ok what the fuck do you mean and it's very weird seeing the look on american doctors' faces when you have to explain to them that believe it or not atomic bombs were dropped on this earth 2 generations ago and it did have consequences
