What I wouldn't give to see Abigail's room. To have a scene of her by herself, while Hannibal, Will and Alana stand outside her door, and watch as she takes in her childhood bedroom. To see her unkept bed she told herself she'd tidy after breakfast, walk around the small space, with pastel pink walls her mother had painted while pregnant with her, and to follow as her hand lingers on the bumps and brush strokes. She wonders that maybe, if she pushes hard enough, her mother's hand will reach out to pull her away from this mess, whisper that nothing can hurt her while she's embraced in her arms.

Oh, to see her pick up dolls and dvds and books and trinkets her father had given her as a child, a disgusted look on her face as she holds them tight to her chest, wishing that her he were present so she could yell at him, hurt him till he bled, apologise for the mess and say she still loved him, but she wasn't sure how or why.

She'd absorb the room, it's history, it's ability to once make her feel safe, look at the pink walls once again and cry. Small, whispery sobs, the kind where your lips hurt from quivering so much and your throat starts to choke on your own sadness, then stop, wipe, get up, and exit, saying to the others that she's seen enough of it.
