It wasn't really intentional, I just took a vacation that was jam-packed, and I didn't have time to look my at my phone. Then, when I got home, I had gotten out of the habit so I hadn't really bothered checking my apps much lol

I just got to know that apparently about a decade back Pippa did a food nutrition course from institute of integrative nutrition is new york. This, along with her masters in child development, AND also the fact that she actually went to university on full sports scholarship, Pippa really does seem to be more motivated of the two (sisters) despite her privilege. Granted none of the middleton kids have ever worked a day in their life but out of all three Pippa seems to be the one who could hustle it out in the world, as opposed to Kate or James. And while I'm at it, what are the chances that jmiddy and his wife just "happened" to fall for each other, totally randomly, and that the wife turned out to be french heiress. I mean that's a 90s romcom right there!

I agree that Pippa is the motivated one, but she still couldn't find any legitimate success of her own. She failed miserably at her career attempt that was only made possible by riding her sisters coat tails. Had William and Kate not worked out or never even met, Pippa would just be another failed influencer.

They did release a pic this afternoon. But the decision to wait until today was certainly a choice.

Do you think Kate will attend Wimbledon? Tbh earlier I was thinking of course not. But ever since William took a 100 mile helicopter ride to attend a football match after cancelling all his engagements for months, now I'm beginning to think both w&k are really stupid enough to do anything. AND highly doubt the British media will call them out except for maybe an article here and there, coz atleast until the Wales kids turn 18 which is still about a decade ahead, w&k have the upper hand.

I am not anticipating Kate making any public appearances until at least fall, and even then, I wouldn't be totally surprised if we don't see her all year. I think Wimbledon is out. From what we've seen, she looks incredibly frail, and even if she felt well enough to go, I don't think she'd be down for being heavily photographed until she looks healthy.

So it’s KP fault social media is filled with conspiracy obsessed weirdos? This frenzy has forced a woman to share an incredibly private medical diagnosis when she probably didn’t want to and anyone who contributed to it should be ashamed.

It's not their fault that those people exist but it is their job to know how to handle it. There was a tiktok rumor this week that Charles was dead and Buckingham Palace shut that rumor down immediately. Did it get any traction outside of a small group of chronically online people? No. But the point is that BP knew how damaging a rumor like that can be and they did something about it.

KP fed the beast. They have directly contributed to the conspiracy environment over the years that Kate has now found herself a victim of. They caused further issues by releasing an edited photo, making the sick woman take the blame for it, then set up a bizarre pap walk that once again did more harm. The conspiracy theorists aren't the ones to blame here.

I didn't think that there was any way KP could screw it up more but the cancer announcement just makes all the photo stuff and the weird apology for it just so much worse in hindsight.

It's honestly shocking that a team of professionals could fuck this up so badly. The initial handling of the situation wasn't great, but they could have at any point over the last month have put out a statement to squash the rumor mill. All it would have taken was an update a month ago, along the lines of "The Princess of Wales is continuing to make positive progress following her abdominal surgery in January. She is on track to return to royal duties in the spring, after the Easter holiday as originally stated. HRH is grateful for the continued support and well wishes and wishes to thank everyone for their concern. No more updates will be given until after Easter." That would have at least bought them more time until they had to make a bigger statement. Instead, when asked about Kate, kp issued one snippy statement essentially telling people to piss off. Oh and they could have you know, not released a manipulated photo. If it was such an issue, just release one from their Christmas shoot as they normally do.

You know what's funny with these monarchists trying to shame the gp for their jokes? The gp is more concerned about KP making Kate take the blame for the fake image, going out sick and making a solo video without William near her than the monarchists are. She decided to play the game to please these people and they can't even pretend they're more worried about her physical and mental health than randos on Twitter.

Yeah I never really saw anyone making fun of Kate, they were making fun of the way the situation was handled. KP actively invited speculation by being so secretive and odd.

Kate better make that easter walk now. There's simply no excuse to not appear next sunday for a few minutes church visit.

I'm doubtful that she will. She was prepared for a low quality pap walk, not the HD press cameras.

Unfortunately, if there were any plans to delay Kates' return to work, they've really boxed themselves in here. The post Easter return has to stand. You can't show Kate happily out and about then say she's not ready yet for royal duties. This nonsense will be ending soon enough, one way or another.

They published it because they have the palaces blessing. But yeah, they're gonna live to regret this move. The obvious pr has never been more obvious.

If Kate really is fine and well, which appears to be the case from the TMZ video, what the hell was all of this for? Could it really have just been stubbornness and hubris?

Honestly, she doesn't look fine and well to me. She looks shockingly thin and frail. She made sure to smile the whole time for the pap walk but that's because she knew she was going to be photographed.

I really think this whole mess was probably just stubbornness. KP can't manage their way out of a paper bag.

Unfortunately, this video of Kate seemingly looking well and smiling for the camera is too little too late. It also gives credence to the question of why the hell did they need to manipulate that mothers day photo. This is still incredibly odd, and KP creating that stink over the first car paparazzi pic while clearly actively encouraging the RRs and press to publish these pics is something that they're gonna live to regret.

Kate has gone from working from her bed in hospital to even her personal staff haven't seen her in months.

Yup. That story was so clearly one of those that the RRs can't sell to the British press, so they sold it to an American tabloid.

You can tell that the press has legitimately been kept in the dark and muzzled. The shit that's happening is the press pushing back on the lack of access. We've seen it before but never on this level. It really feels like the floodgates have been opened at last.
