SONIC EVENT: CRUISE BLUES

NOTE: THIS IS FOR THE SONIC RPC ONLY! Check this post for basic rules.

    The weather is getting warmer (somewhere), don’t you just wish you could get out there and see it all? How about instead of that, you’re stuck on a gigantic cruise ship, no expense spared, full amenities, and your way completely paid! Welcome, one and all to TBM's EXTRAVAGANT CRUISE SHIP! You, YES YOU, are invited to take a load off for a FULL WEEK! Celebrate with friends, participate in all kinds of activities, please enjoy the complimentary HIGH SPEED WIFI in case you get bored of social interaction, as well as really anything you can imagine! We’ve GOT IT! But, you can’t leave until the Cruise is done.

    Huh? You didn’t want to come? That’s too bad, because you’re already here! You’ve woken up in your quarters! The lodgings have been split up so everyone has at least once roommate! Who’s your roommate? No idea! We at TBM like to make sure your vacation is as eventful as it is relaxing!

    Any luxury cruise activity you think would be fun, feel free to do! Just don’t try to jump off the ship or fly off of it… It’s a real pain to have to go back for you. And if you just fly off well… you’ll definitely get tired eventually. Why not just stay, relax, and take a load off?

    Important to know: Since characters have to have roommates, feel free to plot with each other in private and come up with who is staying with who, you can also make it open ended if you want someone to take up the opportunity! It's up to you! If you don't get any takers, a random NPC will be the roommate, or whatever you choose to do. Have fun! Read and respect each other's rules!

SONIC EVENT: WINTER LODGE

    It's beginning to feel a lot like Winter Associated Holiday! Welcome, one and all to TBM's WINTER LODGE! It's been decorated for the Holidays, all expenses paid, and you, YES YOU, are invited to take a load off this December! Celebrate with friends, participate in all kinds of activities, from skiing, to snowboarding, or maybe you want to stay inside and warm by the fire! Whatever you choices, you'll be free to anything you wish, provided you are not damaging the Lodge. That would be rude.

    Any winter activity you think would be fun, feel free to do! Be careful you don't get stuck under the mistletoe with someone you're not super friendly with! Or, do. Who are WE to judge?

SONIC EVENT: TRICK OR TREAT!

 NOTE: THIS IS FOR THE SONIC RPC ONLY! Check this post for basic rules.

    Boys and girls of every age, wouldn't you like to see something strange? Come with us, and you will see... this our PARK of HALLOWEEN! The Ghosts and Ghouls of Hang Castle and Death Chamber have come together to give you a SPOOKY AMUSEMENT PARK for you and your friends to join in!

    You aren't in any danger here, just be careful not to wander off alone... who knows what frights await you in that dark, unlit corner? Be careful of the Haunted House... It starts quite CHEESY, but you may feel QUEASY as you go deeper. Where was the exit again?

    What can you do here? Well, you can do whatever you want! All of your favorite Amusement Park Rides are here, with your favorite treats, too! Every attraction has a booth out front with a skeleton who will give you candy if you are in costume. If you are not in costume, you get a disappointed "tsk tsk tsk" and a finger waggle. Oh, and you get jump-scared by a BOOM BOO!

THE MYSTERY...

    THERE IS A MYSTERY at this location... as the night goes on, you may feel more and more like your HALLOWEEN COSTUME... Mummies are groaning, Vampires hate bright lights, and Ghosts are... becoming translucent? (You can run wild with this depending on your costume... Hours 1-4 may not have much effect, but hours 5-8 and onwards, you may start to become more like your costume...!)

    IF YOU TRICK OR TREAT from EVERY ATTRACTION, you may stave off the curse and avoid becoming an eternal CARNIE!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

    Muses may not know how they got here, but they do know one thing is for certain: They are dressed in their desired Halloween Costume. Their regular attire is nowhere to be found! They CAN remove it, but, um. Maybe don't. (You don't have a change of clothes.)

    Welcome to SUMMER! It’s time to take in some R&R, and everyone’s invited! You, your friends, your enemies, and also infinite versions of you! Take a load off at this all-expenses-paid vacation spot!

    What can you do here? Well, you can do whatever you want! Go for a swim, have a cookout, catch some rays, hang out in your room, have drinks–Do what pleases you. There are very few rules for this location and event itself.

    Don’t worry about how your muse got here, everyone stepped off a bus and has their luggage with them or they teleported in if they’re the sort. The how and why aren’t so important, it’s what you do with the time that is given to you that matters!

Welcome to RP Dash Events!

    This sideblog was created to give the Sonic RPC chances to participate in dashboard-wide events together. These sorts of prompts and RP memes were/are prevalent on Dreamwidth, and give a chance for everyone to have fun.

    These events are primarily aimed at the Sonic RPC, but in the future may expand to other RPCs, if I'm comfy with doing so.

    HOW DOES IT WORK?

    An event post will go up, with information on setting, events, etc. The post itself will be tagged with some variation of: dash event: [title]. If you want to have your character participate then you need to do two things:

Reblog the Dash Event Post itself to advertise it.

Make a new post and tag it with the same dash event tag as the Dash Event Post. DON'T REBLOG/REPLY TO THE DASH EVENT POST FOR RP! That will lead to clutter!

Dash events hosted by this blog are open to doubles! Usually events are more about having fun or doing something tropey. There will be basic rules on each post for different events.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RP WITH EVERYONE WHO MAKES A POST FOR THE EVENT, AND YOU ARE FREE TO REFUSE TO WRITE WITH SOMEONE! Your rules should still apply to your blog, but please do not gang up on others for disagreements. Let's all try to communicate with one another.
