I love animals that are, like, the opposite of cryptids: we know for a fact they exist and have a clear idea of what they look like because we have photographs and individual specimens, but we haven’t the faintest idea where they’re coming from - they just keep showing up out of nowhere, and the locations of their actual population centres are a complete mystery.

Fuck. I've spent the last 27 days at a nine.

Well, physically. Mentally I've been at about a 7. Witch isn't as unusual for me.

Food hasn't been a problem at all.

Man. I hate how I feel when I see charts like this and see where I'm at compared to other people. It's so rough.

i just found out this fatigue scale is a thing

i am not a doctor but i am saying this as someone with personal experience with POTS: 0-2 is within the realm of normal for the average person and mental illness (ie. depression) can absolutely bring you to a 3-5 but if you are averaging 5+ everyday like i am i am begging you to see a doctor if u have access to one 🙏 that isn’t normal and could point to chronic illness. being fatigued like that is not laziness or personal failure and you deserve care for it

i really wish…i can share the warmth i feel when i’m at synagogue with other people at the least i want non-jews to hear our worship and how beautiful it is i think it would change a lot

ok, yes. gōnghé, which is…an abbreviation for “industrial cooperative”? Like it was just a term for a worker-run organization? A specific U.S. marine stationed in China interpreted it as a motivational slogan about teamwork, and as a commander he got his whole battalion using it, and other U.S. marines found those guys so exhausting that it migrated into English slang with the meaning “overly enthusiastic”.

Cathedral rose window Afghan in rainbow colors to compliment my stained glass window Afghan in the same color scheme.

I started this Afghan right after Christmas and worked on it off and on for 3 months before completion.
