How y'all been?? Things are progressing here in okie land. I'm supposed to run in the Shamrock Half Marathon BUT I'm only dong it for fun. I have been running, just haven't really had the chance to get over 6 miles in at a time. However, Poodle has been taking a new approach. I've been doing some research and looking around, asking some friends for advice. I had been chatting with someone on the social networking app "Scruff" who was into working out. I really was inspired by him and he didn't seem like a creeper so I felt safe. We agreed to meet and workout together and see how it went. Let me tell you, it has been amazing. I'm so happy I waited for him, because he's totally non judgmental and works with me. I have lifted more weights in the last two weeks than I ever have. I am already starting to see small changes and the "pump" I get is real and amazing. We workout 2-3 times a week and I have even started going more when I feel bored or need something to do. Poodle has changed. Now that I have the weights working out, this week I need to tackle my eating.
Obviously you have a lot of experience training and I was wondering if you could recommend a lifting plan for a beginner. I really have no clue how to go about it or where to start off. Thank you so much for the help! xo
