The greyface moray eel, freckled moray, slender moray, or white-eyed moray (Gymnothorax thyrsoideus) is a species of marine fish in the family Muraenidae. It is widespread throughout the Indo-Pacific area from India and the Maldives to Polynesia and from south Japan to Australia and New Caledonia. It is most commonly observed at lengths of around 40 cm, reaching a maximum length of 66 cm. Its body is speckled with small dark spots and has a predominantly beige color that can vary in strength between different eels. The head is grey with distinctive white eyes.

The Atlantic spadefish (Chaetodipterus faber) is a species of marine fish belonging to the family Ephippidae, which includes spadefish and batfish. The species is endemic to the western Atlantic Ocean. They are found off the coast of the southeastern United States as far north as Massachusetts, the Gulf of Mexico, and in the Caribbean. They are also found in Bermuda and the eastern coast of Brazil.They inhabit marine and brackish waters typically in subtropical climates and are common in shallow waters along coastlines.
