I am SB2749. I like and unhealthily hiperfixate on vidya games. I dabble into pixel art, video editing and game modding.

The characters Troff and Scoff from Donkey Kong 64 have been originally rendered with pierced nipples (as seen in their instruction manual artwork, left column); an aspect that was removed in all subsequent versions of their artwork such as the one distributed to the press (right column).

Internal files for Yoshi's Island contain an unused enemy, a Snifit riding a Flintstones-esque wooden car with stone wheels. The object's internal name is NEW-POO.

Back in elementary school in one of my friends classes there was this computer with an educational mario game on it like mario chess and stuff. He would talk to you as you play but if you walked away for awhile he would say something while idling.
Once they were doing little presentations and one kid was up there dead silent like nearly shaking because they were so nervous. Not a single person talking.
All of a sudden you hear from the back marios voice yell out “Whats-a takin you so long!”. The kid starts crying and runs outta the room
In the Super Mario 3D World style of Super Mario Maker 2, if a Koopa Troopa is immediately bounced off a trampoline upon exiting a Clear Pipe and then only touches trampolines from that point on (without touching the ground or any other objects), it will be frozen in a "happy" animation for the duration of the bouncing, as seen in the footage.

A side room in the level "Downpour Uproar" in the Petal Isles in Super Mario Bros. Wonder (top) is a direct reference to an extremely similar room in World 4-3 in New Super Mario Bros. Wii (bottom), which features the same large coin collectible in the center surrounded by a heart-shaped coin formation and two Urchins, as well as a similar room layout.

If a website has a paywall, like New York Times, DO NOT use the ctrl+A shortcut then the ctrl+c shortcut as fast as you can because then you may accidentally copy the entire article before the paywall comes up. And definitely don't do ctrl+v into the next google doc or whatever you open because then you will accidentally paste the entire article into a google doc or something!!!! I repeat DO NOT do this because it is piracy which is absolutely totally wrong!!!
The Yoshi's Island track from the Booster Course Pass in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe features a giant Nep-Enut enemy off the coast of the island. The Nep-Enut was originally designed to be a 2D drawing, and as such has eyes that are on the side of its face in a stylized manner.
However, this presents a problem whenever it is modeled in 3D and needs to turn around, as it would not have any eyes when seen from the other side. The game hides this by making the Nep-Enut's eyes very quickly change sides as it turns around. The footage has been slowed down when the Nep-Enut turns around to make the exact moment clearly visible. Note its eyes changing sides, followed by its eyebrows on the next frame.
