This Week (7/26/20)
This Week (7/26/20)
I am not sure how I am feeling this week.  I’m still trying to collect myself after the recent passing of my grandmother.  It’s not easy, I can tell you that much.  But, I have to press forward.  I know that she is still with me, just in spirit.
If I am allowed to, I want to share a story about my creavity, my writer’s block and how I overcame both the block and my depression
When I started High school, I remembered I had a wealth of writing that I wanted to get out.  I remember writing down my thoughts, feelings and potential story ideas.  Despite some amount of struggles I went through in my high school life, I still held those ideas in my brain.
After I graduated…..nothing. I felt empty.  Like I lost my purpose.  This became a few long years of depression and just struggling with who I was. Did I want to be a writer?  Am I just going through school just because.  Am I really a writer?  Was this the path I’m supposed to be on?
While I kept moving along, I felt I was lying to myself and my family.  Pretending to be happy when I really wasn’t.  Pretending to go through life with a clear goal in mind, but in reality, I didn’t have a clue what I was doing
Then suddenly inspiration came back to me.  I wasn’t sure how but I felt very passionate about writing once more.  While there are times that the depression returns, it quickly leaves me.
My biggest struggle is time management.  I want to write, I want to type blogs, I want to do all these things, but I need to manage them more effectively.
A big weakness of mine is that I tend to overanalyze everything.  That I should let my life go with the float?
But, I have to keep writing. I have to keep moving.  Not just for the ones that have departed from my life, but for the ones that are currently in my life.  I don’t just write for my family; I write for myself as well.
I believe in my family, people I’ve known, and myself.  If I am going to be a writer, then I need to show myself that I can succeed.  I need to show that I can be a great writer.
I am a writer.
I am a writer.
I am a writer.
I am a writer.
I am a writer.
Next week, I’m going to be showing a Writer’s showcase.  I’m going to be taking 20 Writing showcases to show you what I can do as a writer.  I am working on a story, but it’s still in the planning stages.  If you have any recommendations for future blogs I could write, please let me know.

What Kind of Writer I’ll Be
Since I am a writer, I figure everyone has one question on their minds?
What kind of a writer will you be?
Well, there are various genres when it comes to stories: Nonfiction, Fantasy, Fiction, Sci-Fi, Romance, Young Adult, and other genres.
All of those genres are great genres to behold.  Each one of them would satisfy the inner writer would be.  However, there is one answer that I would give everyone.
“I would be a writer of all of them.”
Now, that sounds impossible. Not any writer can have multiple genres and my answer is, “Why Not?”
Don’t get me wrong, I am sure famous authors have stuck to one genre that seems to give them millions and billions of dollars.  However, I don’t want to be like any of those writers.
I don’t want to be labeled as the writer that sticks to one particular genre.  I love Romance, I love Horror, I love Science fiction and Fantasy. However, I wouldn’t want to be known as the writer that just sticks to one genre.  I don’t want to be a one trick pony.
I want to see which genre people like me best in.  I want to explore all avenues that I can master.  I don’t want to be the person that is constantly praised for writing this particular story.
As far as stories.  I know I can create a few good ones.  I don’t intend of being the person that just made one great story.  I want my stories to live on like all the folklore and stories that have withstood the test of time.
Now, I already know that not everyone will like my work.  There will be those that can’t understand or will hardly read my stories. I don’t blame them.  I will see their opinions just as much as I look into the praise of my work.
My favorite quote is “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.”
Some people might hate my stories, even some will seek to tell me that my work is garbage.  But I will take in those opinions just as much as I will take in those that see my stories as really good.
I won’t know how I do unless I give it a try.

Why I Love Writing
As much as I write stories, blogs and my own personal thoughts, I never thought to ask myself that question.  It never came up.
A while ago, I was watching this movie called Leap (Other lanuages call it Ballerina).  In the film, the instructor asks “Why do you dance?” This spoke to me to relate my question to writing.  I know Ballet and Writing aren’t the same thing, but I structured the question around writing.
Anyways, I decided to ask my question?  “Why do I love writing?”
To be perfectly honest, I hated English class.  I never got an enjoyment out of it in my younger years.  I was more Favored to Math than English.  As I aged, the two subjects kind of shifted to one another. The more difficult math got, the easier that English became for me.
If you can ask my family, they would tell you that I lock myself in my room daily.  While I haven’t gone insane from the lack of socialization, it has helped me to gain a better understanding of writing.  Although, I could spend less time locked in my bedroom.
Why do I write?  Well, some might say ‘Writing for a living does require a love of writing?”  Does it? Because I have seen some book writers that hate writing don’t exactly do it.  You could still be a writer and hate to write.  Sure, it’s anti productive, but that doesn’t mean there are writer or people that make books that are 100% happy with their jobs.
Do I want because it’s fun? Not exactly.  I’m not going to say the career of a writer is a fun one. There are frustrations that come with a writer, that often comes from any career.  We have frustrations, difficulties and struggles.  Writer’s block often comes along and we can’t focus on what we want to write about.  Trying to get a story going is frustrating.  We know the words but applying the words is difficult.
So, why do I love Writing?
*Note: My reason for loving Writing is different than everyone else.  So don’t assume my love of writing is going to share yours.
The reason I love writing is because I love being sucked into a world that I can create.  Each story or blog I tell makes me feel enjoyable. I can’t help but imagine myself being in that character’s shoes.  I don’t need to be stuck on one subject.  I can tell as many stories as I can.  I don’t think I would enjoy being in other careers.  I enjoy writing because I feel in tune with the words.  I sit down every day thinking about what to make for my stories.
However, my flaw is that I need to apply to a schedule and stick with it.
What about you?  Do you have a reason you love Writing?

Why Time Travel is a Messy Plot Device
Most people don’t like using time travel in TV shows and movies.  Some of them do, but that’s another topic for another day.
So, here are my thoughts as to why Time Travel is tricky.
It’s Too Complicated
When it comes to time travel, it’s sometimes the science behind time travel that really makes people less likely to think about it.  There are rules based on other time traveling shows and movies.  If you could go back in time, what would happen if I were to alter events?  What if I prevented myself from being conceived?  Would I fade into nonexistent for causing it or would I be born in a different time or place?  Most people consider it complicated and not worth looking into.
Purely Skeptical
Of course this reason has to exist because no one has time traveled before.  People claim they’re time travels but there is no proof that time travel exists.  So, until we have an actual person that has time traveled or if the technology exists, then the thoughts on Time travel is purely skeptical.
Too Many Continuity Issues
Another reason that makes time travel complicated is keeping track of the changes that are made. Future adventures might cause continuity issues.
Example: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
The way that the vase breaks in the past is very different from how it breaks in the future-past (When Harry & Hermonie travel back in time).  Some might chalk this up to two vases being broken, but it’s still a continuity error in terms of time travel.
That is my list.  What are your thoughts on my reasons of time travel being messy?  How do you think this trope could be used more effectively?

Why Live Action Shang Decision is Unnecessary
Changes happen in Live Action Disney Films:
Belle being an Inventor…..Good
Christopher Walken as King Louie singing “I Wanna Be Like You” …. Questionable but OK
Jasmine being the Sultan….Great change
“A Hyena’s Belly is Never Full”…..Dark and Disturbing but a good change
Shang’s name and rank being changed because of #MeToo
Wait What?
While this news is old, but I had learned that Shang’s character, from the live action version of Mulan, was being changed due to the #MeToo.  So, he’s going to go from a commanding officer to a fellow soldier in the army.
Now, I don’t have an issue with the change being out of #MeToo, but I do have an issue of the change of this character.  I felt this whole thing was very unnecessary.  So I broke down two reasons it was unnessary and one part where it’s completely understandable.
1.       Shang’s Rank
I will defend the #MeToo part of this decision.  I don’t know what it’s currently like in the military.  I never experienced the training.  I would probably die if I ever was to do basic training.
I can only make assumptions that are either true or untrue.  I can only assume that this decision was based on stories that military officer superiors taking advantage of their lower ranking officers in the past, present or future.  Now, I can’t say that for sure.  So, take this with the biggest grain of salt as you possibly can.
Again, I don’t know if it’s the same case.  I can only speculate on this reasoning.  I understand why they have to do this, but it still seems confusing.
From here on, the two reasons I have a difficulty upstanding this decision is not to criticize #MeToo.
2.       Shang’s Commanding Officer Status was out of Circumstance
I’m not sure if anyone remembered the animated Mulan movie. But, Shang wasn’t exactly the commanding officer of the entire camp.  While he was more akin to a Lt. than a commander.
It was his father, that held command over the entire army of China.  The only reason Shang was promoted was because a village in the mountains was being under attack and Shang’s father had to leave in order to help the citizens.  So, he put his son in command of the army at least until his return...Spoilers he doesn’t make it back.
While Shang was a commander from that point on in the film, I just thought he was being a good commander and didn’t have a problem with his position.
3.       The Romance happens in the Last Arc of the Film
In Mulan, Shang didn’t notice that Mulan was a woman until after the battle in the Mountains.  He didn’t have any romantic attraction to her. I think before the point he found out, it could have been one of two things.
1.       Shang being Bisexual
2.       Out of respect for a fellow soldier that saved his life.
I really don’t think Shang grew to love her until after China was saved.  Though romance isn’t what the film is about.  It’s about honor and doing what is right, even if the country’s laws say otherwise.  Mulan laid her life on the line to protect her father.  China probably would have been destroyed if Mulan hadn’t stepped in. But, like the emperor said, “You don’t meet a woman like that, every Dynasty”.
I want to make this point Perfectly Clear before I conclude this blog post.  I am not making fun of the #MeToo movement.  My decisions for the change seem kind of silly based on the lack of understanding from Shang’s character.  Based on some of the changes that Disney has made to it live action movies, the reason isn’t good enough based on my two reasons.
Conclusion: I don’t think Shang should be changed.  Romance in Mulan wasn’t a major part of the film.  It wasn’t a major factor as to why Mulan did what she did.  But, I don’t completely disagree with the decision either. Maybe it’s a change for the better. Maybe it’s just like what I thought about Christopher Walken as King Louie.  It’s a questionable change, but I find it okay nonetheless.  Who knows, maybe Shang’s character as a fellow soldier might work out, maybe not.  Who know? But either way, I don’t think people should be upsetti spaghetti about it.  It’s a change that was probably bound to happen.
But what do you guys think? Do you think Shang should be changed or not?

Why Creator Commentary Episodes Don’t Work
youtube
What I just showed was a Creator Commentary episode (Part of it).  For those that don’t know, Creator Commentary episodes of TV shows has been a thing out of recent years.  It’s a resource that Creators use to Attack fans that dare to criticize their show.
However, I noticed the common problem with all these episodes: Each Creator Commentary episode all have one problem.  It’s the same exact problem: They don’t work.
If I am saying this, then I must realize some of the reasons why these episode don’t work.  I do, my wonderful audience.  So allow me to help educate you on why these episodes don’t work.
1.       These episodes are basically made to say the same message “Stop talking bad about our show. Our show is not terrible.  You’re the big dumb Meany with poop ideas and poop opinions.”
2.       The Creators act like they are unable to handle the criticize being made against them. It reminds me of an old quote “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen”
3.       They’re a waste of an episode slot that could be used to make a better episode.
Creator: Stop saying our show is bad.
Viewer: Git Gud (Get Good)
Creator: *Creates episode to clap back at viewer*
Viewer: Is it sad that a show centered for babies doesn’t cry this much?
4.       It pulls focus from the show.  I don’t remember cartoons of the past having this much anger towards people that don’t like their work.
So, now that I have stated the problems with these episodes.  What could some possible solutions be to make them better? Because I don’t just say that this is a problem.  I go in two steps
State you have a problem
Then, go tackle on solutions to make sure the problem goes away.
1.       Ignore the Criticism: I don’t remember 80’s shows having this problem.  Not everyone is going to like your work.  It doesn’t mean you create a whole episode making fun of your “Haters”
2.       Build from those Criticisms: There’s always going to be people that don’t like your work. Use those criticisms to build you up.
Ex: Rick (Rick and Morty) sounded horrible in the first episode.  Onward, Rick’s voice sounded a lot better.
3.       Don’t make Creator Commentary episodes: The episodes are a waste of space, animation and time.  You can use that time to make a great episode.
In conclusion, Creator Commentary episodes aren’t worth it to make.  You can build a great episode.  Just don’t waste your time responding to your audience in such a negative way.  But, tell me your thoughts on these episodes?

Top 10 Revenge Films
In Films, there are characters that are wronged.  Usually, the pick up the pieces and move on, for other’s it’s Revenge.  I wanted to create lists again and revenge films have been one I have been itching to try out.  Now, there are some rules to this list.
1.       Must be the whole movie for the characters trying to get revenge.
2.       The Person with the Revenge can either succeed or fail in their revenge
3.       Killing may or may not be involved with the act of Revenge
Here are my honorable mentions.  The ones that could have been on the list, but I canceled on at last minute.
Honorable Mentions
Carrie – Even though it’s just one student that pranked Carrie White, it wasn’t enough to put it on the list.
Gangs of New York –  As much as I love the revenge in this movie, the ten that are on the list were simply better than this tale.
Robo Cop- While Robo Cop unknowingly gets revenge on the person that puts him into the Robo Cop suit, it wasn’t stronger than the other contenders on this list.
Conan the Barbarian – Same story as Gangs of New York
Grand Torino- It only had one moment of revenge.
Revenge of the Sith – While it has Revenge in its name, I felt this was more of a takeover than an actual revenge story.
Now, let’s get on with our list.
10. Gladiator (2000)
Let’s start our list off with a Roman tale.
Maximus is seeking revenge against Emperor Commundus for killing his family and putting him through slavery. What makes this revenge exception is how he put through the Gladiator colosseum and throws everything at him Yet, Maximus preservatives.
9. V for Vendetta (2005)
Remember, remember, the Fifth of November.  The gunpowder treason and plot.  I know of no reason why the gunpowder treason should ever be forgot.
Now, I know I might be cheating with this one, but bear with me.  V for Vendetta, based on a comic book, tells of a vigilante named V that sets out to change the country through his terrorist acts.  The first part of the film is V’s revenge for being experimented on, but the film becomes more about V’s actions as he sets to destroy the corrupted government.
8. Law Abiding Citizen (2009)
Clive Shelton is seeking revenge against a flawed Justice system that gave a lighter sentence to a criminal that killed his family.  What makes this revenge so fascinating is that Clive is always one step ahead of his opposites.  When you think he’s doing one thing, he’s doing another.  The film paints Shelton as a criminal, but it almost makes you want him to succeed.
7. Count of Monte Cristo (2002)
Probably the oldest revenge story on this list, the Count of Monte Cristo is about Edmond Dantes, who is falsely imprisoned and betrayed.  While imprisoned, Edmond is given to a map to a treasure.  Using the treasure, Edmond establishes himself as the ‘Count of Monte Cristo’ and sets to get his revenge on those that imprisoned him.
What makes this revenge tale fascinating is that it’s a revenge story about hope.  While in jail, Edmond still holds onto hope that he’ll be reunited with his girlfriend.  The story has been shared multiple times, but I think the 2002 version is my favorite version of the story to date.
6. Taken (2008)
Bryan Mills is a retired agent; who’s daughter was taken by gangster that try to sell her in a sex slave auction. While the daughter doesn’t die, Mills uses his “particular set of skills” in order to track her down.
While Taken has two sequels, it’s the first film that really got audience’s attention.
5 Punisher (2004)
We’re halfway there now.
Cop Frank Castle and his family is killed by mobsters.  However, Frank Castle is the only survivor despite his death.  So, he goes through a killing spree taking out all sorts of characters to avenge his dead family.
What I really love about the Punisher is that he doesn’t really have any powers.  He has marksmanship, military experience, and a brilliant tactician, but he doesn’t have any superpowers unlike some of the other Marvel Superheroes.
While the Punisher has had many movies, tv shows, my favorite version is the 2004 movie with Thomas Jane.
4 Old Boy (2003)
The only revenge film on this list that’s a foreign movie.
What people don’t know is that it’s a part of a trilogy of films called the Vengeance Trilogy
This South Korean film is about a man being imprisoned for fifteen years.  When he gets out, he wants revenge on the man that framed him for killing his wife, took away his daughter.  He meets up with a woman named Mi-do and goes to protect her while claiming his revenge.
So, there is a bit of spoilers for this movie that I will not give away.  I want people to experience this movie like I did.  The best part of this movie is the twist at the end.
There is an American version with Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen, but I consider the 2003 version to be superior version.  It might have English Subtitles, but I consider it to be a great movie.
3 Kill Bill Volume 1/Volume 2 (Volume 1: 2003 Volume 2: 2004)
This one is a tie, but it’s an explainable tie.  A day or so ago, by the time of writing, my cousin told me that he can’t watch Infinity War without watching Endgame.  That really spoke to me because I can’t watch Kill Bill Volume 1 without watching Volume 2. It’s about closure, people.
How could I not make a Revenge Film list without including the Bride (She has a name but I’m calling her the Bride).
The Bride is killed by Bill and the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad via shot in the head.  The gunshot only comatose the Bride (???? I don’t know how that works but I’ll try to suspend my disbelief) for four years and after those years, she goes on a quest to kill those involved in two movies.
What really fascinates me about this series that it feels like a foreign movie.  Quentin Tarano really outdid himself with these movies. The way the Bride gets her revenge, how each of their deaths is unique.
My hope is that Zendaya does take on the role of Nikki, the child of one of the members of the Deadly Vipers, for a new Kill Bill film.
2 John Wick (2014)
Much like the previous film on this is, I couldn’t make this list without the inclusion of this great movie.
John Wick is a retired hitman who’s settling down after the death of his wife.  While out with his lovely pupper, John is attacked by a group of mobsters, his car was stolen and they killed his dog.  (WHY DID YOU KILL THE DOG?)
Out for blood, John stops at nothing to avenge the death of his beloved dog, Daisy.  This film is action packed and revenge filled to the bloody end.  Much like Taken, John Wick has two sequels, but a fourth one is being made.
What I love most about this film is how driven John Wick is.  He stops at nothing to get his desired revenge.
Also, I can’t stress this enough: WHY DID YOU KILL THE DOG?
1 The Gift (2015)
“See what happens when you poison someone’s mind with lies.”
You know, I actually thought that John Wick was my favorite revenge film.  It wasn’t until I saw this movie that really changed my mind about revenge movies.  While John Wick and the other films were great revenge films, this film shattered my expectations.
Unlike the other films on this list, The Gift doesn’t have any human deaths.  It doesn’t need to have them in order to pull off the revenge of this movie.
Simon and Robin move into a new home.  While shopping, they run into an old class mate of Simon’s named Gordo.
With that premise, one could easily predict that it’s going to be the clichéd new person turns out to be evil.  However, part of the film’s wit’s and reason for being number one is that it shatters that illusion.
Throughout the film, most assumed Simon was the good guy and Gordo was bad.  As you watch this film, you see that alignment shifting when you learn more about Simon and Gordo’s past.  The Gift plays with themes of Lies and what a person can turn out to be.
So, that was my list of Revenge films.  Did you like it?  Do you think there should have been a movie I missed?  Let me know your thoughts on it.

What if the Dusted Survived (Avengers Infinity War-Endgame)
rNow, before I begin, I need to say this.  I can not take full credit for this.  I remember reading a reddit post about this a while back.  I don’t remember who wrote it, but please don’t give me credit for this fan specutlation.
Most of the steps will be taken from that reddit post.  Others will be mine.  The key goal of this fan speculation is to see how the Dusted would have gone to take care of
Roster: Shuri/Spiderman/Guardians Minus Rocket and Gamora/Sif(She wasn’t present in the future movies, but she’s on the roster/Dr. Strange/The Pyms (Hope, Hank, Janet)/Nick Fury/Mary Hill/Wong/Black Panther/Scarlet Witch/Falcon/Winter Soldier
Pre Time Heist: Since Black Panther survived the Dusting in this version, Wakanda serves as the base of operations and with the help of their scientists, Shuri, Spiderman and the Pyms, they develop time travel.  Due to the Pyms mass production of Pym Particles, they can make as many trips in time as they need to.
5 Year Gap: If Thanos is unable to be persuaded or death, then the five year gap could be used to locate Vordmir through the Guardians.  Since Nebula was dusted in this instance, finding the location of the Soul Stone might prove very difficult.  Life tries to move on after the five year gap.
Now, the bottom list is who would go after the various stone
Mind & Space: Nick Fury and Maria Hill are the most likely to go on this mission since they would likely know a great timeline where the stones have been and are able to pick it up with no problem.  However as a backup Falcon and Winter Soldier serve as back ups.  Any time between Captain Marvel to Avengers might serve as pick ups for this time.
Reality: Since Sif was vanished, she was an Asgardian that survived.  She would possibly be the best person to know where to get the Reality stone. Maybe hope to Thor: The Dark World Timeline Pre Dark Elf attack or Post depending on her preference.
Time: This one would be simple for Dr. Strange since he is the Sorcerer Supreme.  He would probably have one last talk with the Ancient One before moving on.  Timeline to best pick it up would be Battle of New York.
Power: Since the Guardians are still around (Star Lord, Drax, Groot and Mantis), they could easily get this around the 2014 or Post Xandar battle in the same year.  You may notice that there is one event that doesn’t happen at this time.
Soul: I wanted to leave the soul stone for last as I felt this was the most personal Infinity Stone of them all.  Also, with Nebula being dusted, this would probably be the most difficult Infinity Stone to find.  That five years could be spent trying to find Vormir.  The Pyms (Hope and Hank) go to pick up the stone but realizes that only one of them could reclaim the stone while the other one perishes.
As an opposite of Infinity War, Hank decides to give his life for the soul stone leaving a devastated Hope in retrieving the stone.
Assembling the Gaunlet: Since the base of Operations is Wakanda, there would most likely be an Wandakian style Infinity Gaunlet to contain the stones.  Shuri with the help of the brains, would create a Vibrainium styled Gaunlet in order to assemble the Infinity stones.
Who Will Snap Their Fingers: Since, there is no Hulk that is able to do the snap, the more likely Candidate that is able to snap their fingers is either Scarlet Witch (Who could probably handle snapping everyone with some reprocussions) or a rebuilt Vision that sacrifices himself to bring back everyone.
Differences in this timeline: You may notice that there is no Loki slip up or Thanos involvement? That’s because The Loki event only happened when no one wasn’t watching him.  Given Fury and Hill/Bucky and Sam went for the Mind and Space stone; this problem wouldn’t happen.
As for Thanos, That situation only happened when the two Nebula’s interfaced, since Nebula was dusted, this problem doesn’t happen.  While Korath would exist in the timeline to try to retrieve the stone, Starlord wouldn’t be alone in retrieving the Power Stone.
Again, full credit goes to the reddit user for this speculation, but I want to know what you guys think.  What do you think would happen in this timeline?  Do you think the heroes would have greater success in this mission?

The Unspoken Marvel Deal
People remember the Marvel-Sony trade they had with the Scarlet Witch character?  Marvel wanted to use Scarlett Witch/Quicksilver for a multiple/One movie deal.  Sony owned the characters at the time.  If you don’t, then allow me to show you a breakdown of some of the rules that both companies had to take
Marvel: No References to Magneto.  They can’t say that she’s a Mutant
Sony: No References to Avengers
I’m sure this deal is shattered due to Marvel buying Sony.  Which is a good thing since we might be getting Mutants in the MCU in the near future.
However, what some of you may not know is that there was another deal that Marvel made that not everyone talks about.  See, Marvel and Sony made another trade with characters that you may not have noticed. The deal was made between Deadpool and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
At the time, Sony owned the rights to Ego the Living Planet.  He was a character from the Fantastic Four comic.  Unlike his MCU counterpart, he wasn’t evil…at times.
Despite being a mutant, Negasonic Teenage Warhead was owned by Marvel comics.  They head the rights to that character.  If the deal didn’t go through, I would imagine they would have used her in a game or even in a movie down the line.
However, both companies wanted the other character.  So much like the previous deal, Marvel traded the rights for Nega for Ego and Sony would get Negasonic Teenage Warhead for the movie.  I assumed due to the one movie for Ego (Possibly) that they might have gotten the Skrulls for Captain Marvel for that deal.
This is completely my own opinion about this deal.  It could be true, but then again it could be completely fictional too.  Though, I would imagine that was how the various companies got a hold of the rights to those character.
Now that Marvel owns Sony, they could do whatever they want with some of the Marvel characters. Here’s to hoping for a bright future for comic book movies.

The Three C’s of a Relationship
In most relationships, regardless of it being romantic or mutual, people live by codes.  Some say that the wife/girlfriend is always right, others say that men are superior.  For me, I tend to go by the Three C’s of a Relationship.  The three C’s are Communication, Compromise and Commitment.
These three C’s are at the core of my beliefs about how a relationship is structured.  Having even one of these C’s removed will complicated the relationship.  So, let’s explore my belief to you guys.  These are the three C’s of a relationship.
Communication: People always communicate.  Whether it’s a conversation in person, on the phone, or online, humans interact with one another.  Healthy communication between people is beneficial.  It helps us to understand each other, joke around, crying together and other aspects of social interaction.  There are times where communication can turn sour.  Saying the wrong words, laughing at inappropriate times.
Compromise: This might be the same thing as communication, but compromise is the balanced union of relationships.  Couples or friends tend to argue a lot or a little.  If you don’t have at least one disagreement, then what are the differences between couples.  Two people resolving their issues through a compromise is what makes this different that communication.  Being able to look at each other and know what the other wants is a valuable trait indeed.
Commitment: When it comes to friendship, family or even a relationship, commitment/loyalty is everything. Commitment in a relationship is very important.  It means we value the person we are with.  We care about them and their time.  To betray that trust is like stabbing the heart.
The Conclusion: So, that’s the three C’s of a relationship.  While I am sure some people share my beliefs, others probably have their own core belief about a relationship that differs mine.  But, regardless these are my three C’s and I tend to follow them whenever I can.
Sorry if this one seems short, but I wanted to stay my beliefs.  Maybe I might elaborate in the comments below.  What do you guys think?  Do you guys use all of these three or just one of them?

The next big villain in the MCU
With Thanos gone, the spot of the big bad in the MCU is vacant.  Who is going to replace our Mad Titan in the MCU?  I’ve thought about three villains (Plus 1 Group) that could potentially be the new big bad of the MCU.  Since Marvel acquired Sony, this might help with discovering who might be the next big threat that the Avengers and other heroes could face.
Norman Osborn (Green Goblin)/Dark Avengers
Now, someone bought Avengers Tower in Spiderman Homecoming.  One theory goes that the Fantastic Four may own that building. Another theory goes that Norman Osborn might have acquired that building as well.
The Green Goblin has been an Avengers level threat, despite mostly being a Spiderman villain.  Seeing him being the big bad isn’t impossible to say the least.
Tying with Norman is a group he helped develop in the comics known as the Dark Avengers.
Knowing that the Government isn’t exactly trusting with the Avengers, Thunderbolt Ross and Task Master could be a part of the Government Avengers (Probably being called Dark Avengers). Until Black Widow confirms this, Norman and the Dark Avengers could be speculator.
Masters of Evil
This group was a recent addition when I saw Baron Zemo in his signature mask.  Zemo has often led the Master of Evil in the comics.  With the fear of the Avengers, it wouldn’t be impossible that the next logical step would be a formation of this group. Maybe Baron might grab some of the Alive Villains of the MCU (Ex. Abomination) and try to form a villain group such as the Masters of Evil.
Dr. Doom
A villain that Sony has never been able to get right.  Dr. Doom would be the next step if Thanos has been removed from the board.  He is a superior threat to the MCU plus it would great to see how Latveria fits into the MCU.  If the MCU’s future villain is Doom, I just have one simple request
Don’t butcher this character like Sony has.  For the love of all things Doom, do not butcher this great villain.
Kang The Conquer
As much as I love Dr. Doom, if there was ever a next step to take, Kang the Conqueror would make a lot of sense.
The MCU used time travel in Endgame.  With the mending of time travel, Kang would make a lot of sense.  I even have a possible reason he could take revenge on the Avengers.
The Post Snap could have made things great for Kang’s Future.  However, Post Endgame could have taken away Kang’s family, and other events for the time traveling villain.  So, he goes back to challenge the Avengers and take his revenge for what they stole from him.
So, who do you think is going to replace Thanos in the MCU?  Tell me your thoughts.

Procrastination
I’m sure we all have procrastinated on something every once in a while.  Sometimes it’s not good to procrastinate, but regardless of the circumstances, we tend to do it.
But why do we procrastinate? Is it just because we are too lazy to do the work?  Do we not want to do the work we are assigned?
Don’t get me wrong, we should do the work we are assigned to work on the date and time we are given that assessment.  However, most people always see Procrastination as a bad thing.  Why can’t we see it as a good thing?
There are a few times where Procrastination has helped me to score big and high on tests and projects. When it comes to tests, I can’t seem to study like others.  Flash cards or memorizing the material each night fails me.  it’s only when it’s the day of and I look through the material that helps me the best.  Even a big project that was due on the day of and I didn’t start on it seemed to score me big points on it.
However, I am not asking you to do this method.  Trust me, even though it works for me some of the time, it doesn’t work all the time. There have been times where this method has failed me.  I’ve forgotten certain items at home, I’ve gotten most of the material wrong or failed to see why my writing was as bad as It was.
It’s not a completely wrong tool and those that say that procrastination is bad have valid points. Procrastination isn’t something to be taken lightly, but it shouldn’t say it’s a completely wrong idea.
I have studied some of the time and procrastinated the other half.  Both tools are beneficial, but both tools have their downfalls.  Even having too much time delicate to the project has its downfalls.
You should take the time to relax, but there are times where there is work to be done.  The key is balancing the two.  Procrastination does allow me to relax and work on the papers or projects when I am ready.  Sure, waiting until the last minute is a bad idea that cares more risks than rewards, but it has worked…some of the time.
So, why do we view it as a bad thing?
Maybe it’s because we feel that people aren’t taking things too seriously.
I guess when you look at it, it’s only a matter of opinion.  What about you guys?  What are your views on procrastination?  Has procrastination helped you or harmed you?

One Day to Live
When it comes to your life, how should you spend it? Everyone says you should live your life to the fullest, but how exactly should you live that life?
Here’s a prompt, what if you only had one day to live?  That means from the beginning of the day, you are alive, but at the end of the night, you depart from this world.  So how would I spend it?
I would probably eat breakfast as usual.  I mean, if I am going to die, I might as well get in one last breakfast.  Probably pig out, who knows.
Then, I would start my activities on everything that I would do on the last day that I am going to cease living.  Probably drive a car, go on a date, maybe even learn a skill or language I haven’t learned before.  The sky is the limit on how I would spend the morning.
The afternoon would be much less the same.  Probably be in a private jet.  I’ve always wanted to be in one of those.  I always see people enjoying their own private jet, but I never got to be in one myself.  I’ve flown on an airplane, but flying a private jet would sound kind of awesome.
Then, I would try to spend some time with family members.  It’s my last day.  Would you want to spend  it with the people you love most.  I’d also try to ride a horse.
Then, the evening having a big dinner with family or someone I like.  Would be humorous if it was fast food, but the urgency Then, we would go to the hospital to await my final moments.
I’m not dying anywhere. I want my dead to be surrounded by the loved ones and friends that I have made.  I’m 100% sure I would be missed.   I can’t say that I’m liked by everyone, but there would be a big crowd that would miss my humor, presence and my qualities.
But, the sad part about all this is, I haven’t even accomplished everything I wanted to do before I would depart from the Earth.
Most people think that a day is the time that would kill everything on my list.  A day is great and all, but it wouldn’t be enough to satisfy my tastes and desires of what I want to do.
Nope, it would take about a week, maybe a few to get everything accomplished.  Spending it with my friends and family would be beneficial, but I want to spend at least a week accomplishing with the time I have left.
But, with my last breath. I would probably go out in a movie quote.
“I don’t feel so good” Yeah… those would be my final words.  But tell me what you would do differently?  How would you spend your last day on Earth?
