Arlecchino would have the sleeping Empress buried in her chest with one arm being used as an arm pillow, and the other being used as a Signora moth fly swatter 😭😭

Poor Pookie Wookie Bear, she can’t even have the Empress to herself when they sleep. She’s so close to just squashing the moths, but she knows Signora would just conjure up some more like the sneaky woman that she was. Eventually though, I feel like Arlecchino would give up and just head back to sleep cuddled up with her Empress, leaving the moths to land on the Empress’ sleeping body and allow Signora to “sleep” with them too for the night.

imagine if Empress has a hunch that it's Signora's moths keeping her warm and they're not some random moths from nature, so she goes to ask her and Signora is just like "oh..! these moths? they're... rare creatures here... yes it seems like they've taken a liking to you..." but Empress can totally tell she's lying kjsdjsks

She can insult her all she wants, but the Empress will eventually figure out that the moths are Signora’s creation and that Signora conjured them up out of worry. Not even the cold, ice-hearted crimson witch is immune to the charms of the cute Empress, as she’d secretly be keeping an eye on you throughout your travels.

Sometimes, when the Empress is asleep in her own special guest room, Signora would watch over her sleeping body using a moth as a little nightlight. It brings Signora comfort to know that the little Empress is safe and sound with the warmth of her flame moth to keep her company. If Arlecchino is sleeping with the Empress in her bed though, she’d peek one eye open at the moth and swat it away if it gets too close to the bed 😅

While you’re asleep, Arlecchino is just swatting away a bunch of moths while Signora is taunting her.

No I eat the crusts! I dislike eating the ends of bread because it’s dry and bland, but usually the crusts of pizza (at least, for the pizza my family eats) are seasoned pretty decently so I eat them :)

so when the empress is in the coats of the harbinger ladies, is she stepping on their feet while they walk? or is she like, clinging like a koala with arms and legs just wrapped around the harbingers? i imagine if she's clinging on, her head just slowly disappears from the neckline of the coat as she slides down little by little due to the walking.

But no, the Empress kinda just…shuffles along with them while they walk, as the Empress and the Harbinger have to walk slowly since they are sharing the same coat. Their feetsies do little floor shuffles and it’s so cute to see Arlecchino or Signora stiffly walking across the room and taking like 5 extra minutes to get to their destination 🥺

I’m more of a bagel girlie myself, but even then, I can’t fathom the idea of making toast out of the end pieces. It just looks more dry 😖

My poor wife Navia would have to eat the end pieces— actually, no. She wouldn’t. If we lived together I solely believe that Navia and I just collectively agree not to eat the end pieces and use them as compost :(

Random thought, but since Arlecchino is a dad, I imagine that she eats the ends of the bread loaf when no one else eats it.

Like, you know how the ends of the bread loaf are the worst part because it’s all crust? I imagine that no kid in the orphanage wants to eat the ends, so they get left behind. Not wanting to waste food, almost all of Arlecchino’s sandwiches are just the end crusts because like a dad, that’s all she eats. Just the leftovers 😭😭

Not for fics since fics are longer and NPCs generally don’t have that much personality to work with, but for thirsts and small drabbles I definitely write for the female NPCs and enemies!
