It’s a new year, and so this is a new blog! I’ve decided to condense down my two current blogs—@senjiinka & @uchikese—into a multimuse blog so make things a bit easier on myself. Senjumaru Shutara has also been added to the roster, because I miss writing my favorite spider-queen!

There is a blink, violet gaze immeadiately travelling to that of the scroll – such being previously unnoticed by her – before finding it’s way back to the Captain, a nod bringing delicate chin downwards. All irritation over absentee leader fades so concentration can be moved towards the scroll and question instead.
“… I could certainly aid in that, Kuchiki-taichou, if you will have me.” Memories of long ago, applying to the Kido corps, spring to mind, her efficiency in such arts being her reason for rank. “… I can finish this page and then aid you, if you wish?”
He’s obviously pleased by her acquiescence, eager to unravel the mystery hidden within the scroll. “I can think of nobody better-suited for the task.” Her status and lineage considered, as well as Ise’s calm, pragmatic nature and her raw talent, she’s the ideal candidate for this task.
“There is little need to rush, however.” The Kuchiki has his own work to finish before the afternoon is through. “If it suits you, I would utilise the Gotei’s library this evening. There are two further scrolls to match this one, but I dare not let them out of my sight,” the secrets within them are dangerous in the wrong hands, “though you may keep this one for the time being for review. I have no doubt you will take excellent care of it.”
