Hey! Not sure if i can do this cause it’s not really a confession but you must be pretty involved in the snape fandom so you might have seen what i’m talking about. Basically it was a fanart about how severus’ hair length changed from year to year during his hogwarts education and i saw it once and haven’t been able to find it since 😭

What wedding rings do you think Severus would wear? Thin? Thick? Silver or gold? What ring would he propose to y/n with?

The problem with old age and bitterness (in my case) is that I don't find the idea of marriage appealing at all, so I will naturally project my own perception on Severus.

However, my sweet anonymous, I like to think that he would contemplate the idea of marriage (not only for fiscal benefits but also to ensure that should anything happen with him, the partner would be secured) and would eventually propose to his partner.

The gesture, the outpouring of love, the intention, and the blatant honesty of his words would dispense any ring.

I can totally see severus asking him partner if they want to go do boring errands with him and him expecting them to just say no but getting flabbergasted because they are just excited to spend more time with him and doing him do stuff

"Y/N? I must go to the bank. There is something wrong with the shop's account. It shows the same supplier deducting twice the amount from last week's delivery. I take it you wouldn't like to be my chaperone?" he asked nonchalantly.

You were quite busy organizing the shop's receipts to be sent to the bookkeeper so he did not expect it when you replied back.

He pauses. Why would ... "What? Stay here ... there is no need for you to waste your time and face the cold. I was merely teasing you with an alternative to that tedious task by offering you another that will bore you to tears. Plus, I'm the designated voluntold."

"Sev, I don't mind going with you at all. Plus, we can stop by the coffee shop afterward. We're out of the good coffee beans." You smile at him affectionately and turn away from him, browsing the coat hanger for your scarf.

The corners of his mouth quirk upward and his gaze softens. "Am I really being chaperoned to the bank?" and he pulls you into a soft embrace, nuzzling your neck from behind.

"Someone might steal you away from me on the way out, thinking you're filthy rich and worth kidnapping."

i saw an art of severus x reader ( christmas edition) where reader wears only the apron while making christmas cookies. this leads me to ask

what do you think will snape be obsessed with your tits ? in both sexual and non sexual way . i will think so that is because sev like the fact that he can hide from the world if he faces down into readers chest and reader affectionately peppers his hair and forehead with soft kisses and later when he removes his face he gets rewarded with kisses all over his face.

I loved your description and thought about writing a drabble for it but it would overdo what is already satisfying to read.

I do think that he has a soft spot for the beloved's chest.

Simply because there is warmth, he can listen to your heartbeat, feel the rise and fall of your ribcage, soothing him in the process... inhale your scent, and if you have volume there, he can rest his face on something quite soft and satisfying to nuzzle. 🙃

What happened? A wonder?

He still can't believe it, that he is alive. He remembers that the Dark Lord told Nagini to kill him. He was terribly injured, heavy bleeding, felt life leaving him...

But after drifting away, he saw Dumbledore. They didn't talk to each other, he just stood there, nodding slightly, and went away. A voice told Severus, that this was not the end.

Finally he woke up in the hospital wing of Hogwarts. Only the cut of the Dark Lord was left, but no bite marks on his throat. He saw Minerva at his side. She also had no explanation for what really happened.

"But I am very glad to see you alive", she said calmly and smiled. "Potter told us everything. We now know what Dumbledore made you do."

The first time she saw tears in his eyes.

"Severus, it's a second chance for you! Really! Go into the world and enjoy your life! You deserve it."

"I think, I have an idea why I'm alive. Fawkes. Dumbledores phoenix. He returned, but I don't know why. This must be the reason that there are no marks on my skin", he says and Minerva listens.

What do you think about Severus x Student fanfics?

Eh, I'm afraid someone here will smack my head for it but- 🤷‍♀️

My OTP is Hermione x Severus and in 80% of the fics I have read she was either his student until some point or had known him from that context. But the way the authors build up the plots and their emotional connection makes it work for my brain.

For any fic of Severus x Student, Severus x Reader, Severus x OC, or Severus x Character I don't enjoy the gratuitous trope "He is her teacher and she is the student so they 'go at it' between classes".

If it is going to follow that path, then give me a good plot and a motive, and don't mask it with extremely improbable sexual tension.

we all change over time and for most of my life I’ve considered myself a Slytherin. however I’m starting to feel that I’m more of a Ravenclaw these days.

which makes me wonder if Snape would still be a Slytherin after the war which he definitely survived, or with freedom to finally discover who he is without the weight of the world on his shoulders, would he veer more towards being a Ravenclaw? 🤔

There are some discussions about whether Snape would have been better sorted into Ravenclaw instead.

My personal two cents are that - quite frankly - they hold on to the Hogwarts Houses for more than it is acceptable. Everything has to always be exhaustively boxed into houses in the series.

I am half-agreeing with you but I wouldn't go so far as to re-sort him, because if you look at the other Professors, they too have mixed characteristics.

Let's go over the traits.

Wit, learning, wisdom

Severus demonstrated throughout the 7 books that he was indeed cunning, resourceful, a bookworm, and had the sharpest wit of Britain.

His initial sorting may have been a product of his sense of helplessness at home (he wanted to feel powerful, and usually ambition and leadership are intertwined with power) and the sorting hat does take your wishes into consideration. So in the end it was the Slytherin House that made more sense.

Just like regular people mature and change over the years, wizards and witches from HP did too.

Considering that the new Harry Potter series plans to be more faithful to the books, which actor would you like to be chosen to play Snape?

Dangerous question. I'd like to see the age at least getting accurate, you know? And there are new actors over there that could use the series as a good base for their careers.

But if I had to pick one from mainstream industry I'd definitely go with Adam Driver.
