I wonder if HBO Max possibly ceasing to exist means that the Degrassi reboot is getting cancelled. If I had to guess, it probably would mean that. But I’ll hold out a little hope regardless. It’s looking bleak though.

i’m not ready for the inevitable reminders hardcore degrassi fans are going to have to give to the general public regarding the fact that, the next generation is not, in fact, the original degrassi.

first of all, my initial thought to this reboot news is “holy shit more degrassi!” but immediately after i realized hbo max’s involvement could led to it being more ~edgy. obviously it’s early, but if that’s the case then i will not be happy. 

edit: i guess there’s hope since it’s with warner’s kids and family division.
