Two blocks from work with my coffee. Working from 3-7 instead of my usual 4-8:30 is gonna mess me up. It also shorts me $9 as compared to how I’m scheduled 95% of the time.

Work at 3:00 today. Until 7:00. That means I’ll be able to take two trains home instead of three because the train will hit Brooklyn well before 9:00. Score!

I was trying to take a post-therapy nap but my uncle called. I almost didn’t answer.

I’m bored. Can’t go out because my ankle is bothering me. I have two bad ones. When I sprained my right pretty badly I couldn’t rest it so I put a lot of strain on my left. Fun stuff.
Update: Just walking a block to take out my compost bothered my ankle (with a brace) so anything else is hopeless. SOS. Time is passing so slowly.

" If Tom Ripley was in a gay bar, I’m not sure that he would fit in there. Nor do I think he’s a straight character. I think he’s a queer character, in the sense that he’s very “other.”
What’s his relationship with sex, or death, or with family or friends? It’s interesting that a character is the sum of the parts that you don’t have to play." (x)
