Grinning at the boy’s own reaction, he bowed dramatically at the compliments. “Thank you, thank you. I’ll be here for like… 3 more years.” Kieran said as he laughed lightly. “Most people just think I’m being too loud. I’m Kieran by the way!” 

ₒ°❃ Judging by the over-the-top bow Kieran gave him, Jacob could see how he seemed to be born to be on a stage. It was definitely something he could appreciate. “I’m still here for quite a while too. I don’t really mind, honestly.” Jacob smirked at his next comment. “Oh, that’s way too relatable. I’ve got to learn the hard way not everyone in this house can appreciate an upcoming musician. I even got kicked out last week!” He put his hand forward to invite his new friend to a handshake. “I have to say it’s a real pleasure to meet you! I’m Jacob.”

I didn’t know that! I’ve never been but I would really love to see it, I’ll have to find a way to convince you to take me some day, then!” Jacob nodded when Korrina told him he didn’t need to worry about paying her back. “Okay, if you say so! I won’t forget it though, next time drinks will be on me. Anyway, thanks for being so generous! Cheers?” the boy said, jokingly holding up his Starbucks cup like he was holding a glass of beer.

ₒ°❃ Jacob chuckled loudly at Keiran’s reaction. “Did you really think I was coming here to ruin your fun?” he let out. Who would Jacob be to judge him? He was just glad he wasn’t the only one in the fraternity occasionally jamming out to some good music. “Keep going really, you’re pretty darn good! When I heard your singing through the wall I thought I was listening to the original for a second!”

“Oh, sorry, was I being too loud?” Kieran asked, stopping his outburst of singing as someone entered the room. “You can’t deny that song is a bop though.”

“Oh!,” Alfie exclaimed with a laugh, then tried to be reassuring. “Polar bear livers have so much vitamin A that humans would just succumb to vitamin A poisoning. Probably not the best for a menu, huh?”

ₒ°❃ A chuckle escaped his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Oh okay, now I get the point you wanted to make.” Of course he wasn’t smart enough to know the amount of vitamin A in a polar bear’s liver. “That’s a very impressive fact, though, wow! I had no idea. I didn’t know you could get poisoned by vitamins either,” he added. It had been over two years since Jacob had his last biology class, something that was probably obvious to Alfie. “Now I certainly hope no one offers it on their menu, yeah.”

ₒ°❃ An offer to drink tea was never something Jacob would refuse. Besides, he was about to go order a new drink anyway. “Well -- I’m British, does that give an answer to your question?” Jacob chuckled, referring to the fact that people in Great Britain sure loved their tea. If you asked him, it wasn’t solely a stereotype. “It already smells so delicious!” he commented, reaching out to take over one of the chai lattes. “I’ll pay you back, promise.”

Diana shook her head, laughing spilling past her lips at her brother’s display of excitement. “Combine our skills, huh? How do i know you won’t just stick me with all the work.” She teased, giving his arm a slight shove, a smile brightening her features. “Of course we are. If anyone says differently, i’ll take care of them.” She held her fists up, miming a right hook as if she was fighting an invisible assailant.

ₒ°❃ Jacob put up a pretend-offended face after hearing her next comment. “Do you not trust your very own brother? I would never take advantage of your skills like that, I wouldn’t even dare,” he answered quickly, though he knew they were just joking around like they usually did. “I’m really glad you think so,” Jacob commented, before bursting out laughing when she held up her fists. “You’d probably be able to handle them a lot better than I do.” This was true by any means. Self-defense wasn’t really Jacob’s strongest feature. “I really have the most badass twin sister in the whole universe.”

ₒ°❃ A big smile grew on Jacob’s face when they both agreed to not wait to get some ice cream. “My mouth is watering already, I really can’t wait,” Jacob commented, only exaggerating a little. “I think the one downtown is open ‘til 10 PM. That’s still enough time left, right?” The walk wasn’t too long, besides, Jacob knew he didn’t have to complain about the distance when Pennbrooke’s top athlete was still by his side. She’d just tell him to man up. After they arrived in the ice cream shop, he let out a small sigh when he saw there were like a bazillion ice cream flavors to choose from. “Damn, why on earth would you have so many flavors? I’ve already seen six I like and I’ll probably never be able to pick...” he let out.

ₒ°❃ Being a musician didn’t always make yourself popular around everyone -- especially not when you were busy writing a song with your guitar. That was something Jacob experienced once again today, and it was the main reason why he was sat down on the porch in front of his fraternity house, instead of his room or the kitchen. His fraternity brothers had thrown many arguments at him -- they were trying to study or trying to sleep... maybe they just weren’t appreciative of his music. Jacob guessed it wasn’t too bad having to write in the fresh air outside. Humming a melody, he put down his notebook in front of him before he took his guitar to try out a couple chords. He stopped abruptly as he heard someone open the front door. Glancing over, Jacob noticed it was Ris. “You’re not here to tell me you want me to move and play elsewhere, right? I’m afraid there aren’t too many places left.”
