once she finally quiets, alex takes a second to close his eyes, enjoy the peace. try to get themselves to calm down. he takes in a deep breath and slowly lets it out before daring to open his eyes back up. guilt hits them when they see her demeanor now, letting out a little sigh. "i'm sorry." alex says now, swallowing heavily. "i didn't mean to snap i just ..." he runs a hand through his hair, pulling it roughly. "feel a little overwhelmed right now and that - wasn't helping."

she'd    been    humming    along    to    the    music    in    her    airpods,    and    somehow    that    had    ended    with    her    singing    along    as    she    read    over    the    script    in    her    hand.    ❝    oh.    sorry    about    that.    ❞    she    says,    looking    up    at    alex,    voice    soft    and    shy,    as    she    tucks    her    hair    behind    her    ear.    she    knew    she    could    get    caught    up    and    start    singing    along,    but    she    didn't    usually    get    snapped    at    for    it.    she    felt    chastised,    like    a    kid.

"you didn't have to join me, darling." though the smile on luke's face, that can be clearly heard in his tone shows that he doesn't mind at all that she has. once she moves to having her head on his chest, he doesn't hesitate to wraps his arms around her, pulling her in tight, holding her close. despite the wracking through his brain he's trying to do, he can't help but take some time to devote some attention to the girl now in his arms. because of course he can't. at her question, a little sigh escapes. "i was laying on the floor earlier and i thought of the perfect lyric ... but i fell asleep before i could write it down. and when i woke up, i couldn't remember it. so i thought maybe if i laid back down on the floor, it would come back to me. but ... so far, nothing."

so the muse for these guys hasn't gone away & i'm still planning to do things here like ... now. HOWEVER - ... apparently, since this blog hasn't been active & pretty much the only notifications it's got is followers ... i can't see anything in my activity past december. & aside from recent things - it's all - new followers notifications - i mean thank gods i have the disco webhooks thing so i can just use that but ... this is kind of annoying in the sense i cannot just go down my activity page but alas - i also kind of brought this upon myself -

an actual idea of what i'm planning to do with my blogs, as having something typed out & an actual plan might keep me from going insane: - focus on one blog at a time, starting with grvdged (& well, spcckystcries but easier to put them together since - sideblog) - start with things from the past couple days, reply to those - then, since muse was peaking while looking, go through inbox & answer everything in it that muse is screaming for. probably delete anything else - then, go through things from the past month (well december), probably reply to most of that - then, anything from beyond december, unsure how much will be kept, but some things likely will be - repeat process on each blog. probably going to go shinetcgether, lessycusee, rickymbowen, scftsunshine - also once actual writing is caught up on, on blogs - try to get some ooc content posted. particularly visage, musings, inspo things saved up in likes. but also maybe headcanons, dash games, etc. maybe get a queue going for inspo stuff?

okay so here’s the deal, i’m gonna be putting out a starter call on all my blogs. i know, i know, i owe a lot across all of them & there’s stuff people are still waiting on, & even newer things but … i gotta be honest my dudes - apart of the reason i haven’t been around is aside from just the busy-ness, every time i try to get online, my muse just goes caput the second i log in. so i’m gonna try this to see if it helps, even on the blogs i have barely written on. bc i just - i need to get some kind of flow going & i do wanna do stuff on all my blogs. so yeah i’m gonna try this & see if it helps. fingers crossed & all that. i really wanna be around my dudes

edit: i may also delete some older stuff tbh. i might just be going through my drafts & getting rid of anything i’m truly not feeling. i just wanna do what i can to feel like i wanna be on tumblr again

HI i just wanted to stop in here for a sec. i know i’ve really hardly been around lately & have been super inactive across all my blogs. life has just honestly been super busy & probably is just going to stay that way until after the holidays. i swear i haven’t abandoned any of my blogs though or been ignoring anyone messaging wise, i just really haven’t had time to be online - or when i have had time, just honestly not really been motivated to be. but yeah i swear i haven’t forgotten about any of you. just - honestly consider my blogs on semi hiatus until after the holidays? "you need to calm down." alex says, and it comes out a lot more snippy than he intended, but he can't help it. they feel stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, their nerves frazzled and on end. "you're being too loud." again, he's really trying not to sound like a dick, everything just feels like too much right now. "can you ... just not?" a pause. "please." is tacked on.
