Well, well, well, who would’ve thought my streaming site would have the episode up early. I can finally get a Live!Blog done at a decent time for once.

Rip Rini. That’s my only prediction for this ep.

A mutual, understanding, emotion filled break up with no hard feelings

That’s gonna help both of them in the future I think

Assuming the writers don’t throw them back together at the end of the episode

Did I actually keep track of how many times Ricky said “Nini” in this episode? Yes, yes I did. It helped me stay more focused ironically enough. Luckily half of those were in conversation with Nini so that wasn’t awful lmao.

So I was right about Rip Rini. Incredible. Hopefully they stay broken up for a while and focus on themselves. RICKERAPY CAN FINALLY SHINE!!!!!

Also, EJ likes Gina confirmed? Portwell nation, how we feelin today?

Just Some HSMTMTS Thoughts

if the writers decide to break rini up in season 2 it will be cliché and tiring tbh. you can’t dedicate one whole season for a couple to get back together only to have them break up again. you just can’t. rini can have fights (because couples need to have realistic disagreements once in a while to stay healthy), but they CANNOT break up or be on-again-off-again. those types of plotlines are just simply too tiring and unrefreshing to watch now.

a suggestion for the hsmtmts writers is to take notes from b99. jake and amy didn’t have to do on-again-off-again for them to work. sure they fought and they had their ups and downs, but they remained together through it all. to add, i think what’s a good thing to take away from b99 is that not all eps are peraltiago-centric. we see hints of peraltiago on non-peraltiago eps, but it doesn’t take away time for the rest of the characters to shine. i firmly believe that hsmtmts can pull that off, especially with an ensemble cast with really interesting characters at hand.

there’s so much to explore with the characters of hsm. starting off with rini who are more than their characters, who is nini’s dad? what’s gonna happen to ricky’s parents? who is ej’s family, and does he have family issues we don’t know about? is gina gonna move in with ashlyn? how are ashlyn and ej cousins? what’s big red’s real name? will kourtney have an ep about telling her parents that she wants to fight for what’s right for the world (caust i’d really like to see that)? what about seb? what about carlos? what about miss jenn? what about mr. mazzada? honestly i have so much thoughts i can’t even list them all.

point is i’m very excited for season 2, but i hope the writers don’t screw it up. i love rini with all my heart, but not all episodes should just focus on their relationship. we can’t get talents wasted, am i right? okay that’s all.
