After Resetti somehow convinced everybody off him, everybody voted No Lynch. Except Kuzuryuu. Who insisted.

Resetti managed to save Ibuki though~.

No lynches all around.

Yamada managed to swindle his way into having everybody vote for Komaeda, but uh...

Dangan Roulette

It has come to my attention following a recent game in Dangan Roulette that not a lot of people actually know what Dangan Roulette is. Well, as long as I'm around to say anything about it, I will not leave another player behind. Allow me to briefly explain to you all just what Dangan Roulette is.

Dangan Roulette is a Dangan Mafia game styled so that is less about the Mafia game itself and more about the RP'ing part. This is so people will actually get time to actually Role Play their characters, without having to be stressed out about "getting caught out as the mafia", so it were. This can lead to a lot of fun games. I myself, am the king of these games. But you may be asking yourself: "Twogami mod, you sexy beast! How the devil is it played?" Well allow me to explain.

The usually set up comprises of: One Agent who is the Host. One Fabricator who is the Mastermind. And many villagers. Alternate set ups include the Tree as the Host and the Executioner as the Mastermind, along with Lovers instead of Villagers. They all follow the same basic set of rules either way.

The Host you can essentially attribute to Monokuma. He is the leader of these shenanigans. They can choose to be in the character they got, just plain regular host or just full on despair. It doesn't matter. They usually also use the >Green Text function of Mafia so they're always seen. Their job is to keep track of the game. The Mastermind, on the other hand, is just to act completely natural! They don't have to worry about anything. But wait, what is the game? If there's a Despair inducing Host, it must be a despair inducing game!

Well first, the Host randoms a number in secret. If there are eleven players alive including the host, this would mean ten numbers, one for every other person alive. After a number is randomed, The Host can choose on if the players decide what number they want or randomly assign numbers if they wish to speed through the game. After numbers are picked, everybody votes a No Lynch. Whoever picks the same number as the Host is in for some fun.

Let's say the Host picked number 8, and I also picked 8. Well, before the end of the day phase, the Host would message the Mastermind that they should get me. The Agent class is best for this as it means there will be zero leaks and even The Host won't know who the Mastermind is. Anyway, the Mastermind would then (assuming they are the Fab class) no kill and give me a fake gun. It's often preferred to wait at least a minute before doing this, as they're the only night action and it allows people to write Wills, but either way the Mastermind would give me an obviously fake gun. But what then?

I'd say my final goodbyes to you all and shoot myself. I'm eliminated. The game continues from 9 people. The game will continue until the Mastermind gets their number picked by the Host, where they talk about "Why they did it." and then the remaining alive people lynch them off.

In the meantime, what do all the other players do? They just roleplay their hearts out. The only thing they need to do is pick numbers when it comes up and shoot themselves with the fabs gun should they lose. Apart from that, everybody can go nuts! Form that OTP that you want, become bros with the other characters. The game is your Oyster.

The only other thing to cover is the Protect rule, which is essentially: After numbers are picked, The Host will ask for Protections. They give the town a short time to say who they wish to protect in private. Let's say it was the number 3 chosen which Ibuki happened to have, but I decided to protect Ibuki, as I'm making sure nobody will die so long as I'm alive. Then, I get the gun instead. The Host can say if I protected them or not, depending on if he wants to bring drama into it. Each person may only protect one person a day.

That's everything. I hope this was informative and helpful to all Dangan Mafia players, and hope to see more people using this rather fun set-up soon. It is confusing to learn at first, for absolute sure. But if you like the Role Playing part of Dangan Mafia more than the actual Mafia part? Then this is the game type for you.
