So Tumblr has deleted my work blog utopicwork, I was documenting my development of PierMesh, a new internet for marginalized people, along with other works. I dont know if Tumblr will restore it, and they provided 0 reason as to why this blog was deleted. Its become a pattern that trans womens accounts are deleted with no warning so I kind of expected this.

Liberals have constructed these fake fucking walls of ideology around them. These rituals, and rules, and institutions that you HAVE to use in order to be considered as "doing politics". Anything that falls outside these walls is UNTHINKABLE to them. It is borderline SACRILEGE to them. This includes tactics disruptive protests, direct action, building alternative power structures, and so so soooo much more. And that's not even covering the tactics that require actual violence.

you HAVE to vote! you HAVE to march in their stupid parade! you HAVE to sign their petition! you HAVE to donate to the color of your choice! you HAVE to campaign for the party's chosen genocider! because these are your only options! But these rituals do not win! they are nothing by theater and hagiography meant to direct momentum of actual change into a heap of political nothingness. The reason is simple: the status quo does not materially affect them in any way, in fact, it materially benefits them. They have NO reason to disrupt what is giving them 19 cent bananas and tomatoes in the middle of winter. They PUSH for inaction and run bourgeois ideological justifications because they know, consciously or not, their imperial plunder is killing millions across the world but they still want to wash their hands of all the slaughter. They plug their ears and shout "vote blue" to continue to live in their genocidal delusional world. These cowards play it safe while continuing reap in the spoils of imperialism.

Your feelings and need for complacency hold NO WATER against the lives of Palestinians, Sudanese, Armenian, Latino Americans, and billions more across the world.

UPDATE: Hussam Bought Vegetables!

Hussam managed to put together 100 packages of vegetables for the families in Rafah camps. They were happy about this because vegetables are quite expensive in the markets.

The packages includes tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, lemon, and jalapenos.

Graphic design artist Moataz Abu Sakran has provided extensive documentation of the genocide against Gaza. His photos and videos have been used—often without credit—by major media outlets, and his posts are featured on this blog regularly.

Moataz and his wife and baby girl are trapped in the vicinity of Al-Shifa Hospital complex. The area has been under complete siege for 10 days, and life is extremely difficult and dangerous. In addition to the physical violence of the ongoing siege, the occupation’s famine has made food extremely scarce—Moataz can no longer find milk and nutritious food for baby Maria.

For weeks he has been trying to put together funds to evacuate his family, but donations have stalled, and there is still quite a way to go before they have enough to evacuate.

Update From North Gaza: Third Proof of Purchase!

This is Mahmoud Abusalama from North Gaza in the beginning, explaining the process of buying flour while at the same time distributing food packaged to families. The 2nd portion of the video is what he managed to buy at the end of his scavenge hunt for food and supplies. This will conclude our first North Gaza drive, which was held between March 4th-10th with $25k.

horrific article from the bbc broke last about israel detaining healthcare workers, stripping them naked, and beating them for days on end. we already knew israel was doing this to palestinian detainees, but to be deliberately targeting medical personnel--doctors and nurses and medical assistants on the ground trying to heal wounded palestinians--and then literally torturing them are on levels of cruelty i can't even begin to compute.

a humanitarian law expert in this article calls the footage coming out of this "concerning." i call it the terms racists love to throw baselessly at arabs: barbaric and inhumane.
