Girls night out is supposed to be some of the best times between such close friends, especially when you’re with close friends in Hawaii. However, it wouldn’t end that way for Troian, and still she didn’t understand why.

   “Isn’t this fun?” Troian could smell the alcohol on her friend’s breath as they continued dancing to the loud music. She sighed softly, sitting on one of the stools at the main bar. She’d opted out of drinking that night, figuring Lucy couldn’t handle helping every one of them back by herself and to be honest, she just wasn’t in the drinking mood.

   “Don’t have too much fun, Holland,” She warned, watching her friend stumbling but still trying to dance and keep up with the pulsating music. “Why are you drinking?” She rolled her eyes as someone passed by with a tray and offered her and Lucy drinks. Letting him pass, she quickly got up, excusing herself. She was going insane and quickly. Everything was just too much. Stepping outside, she took in a deep breath as she looked around her at the sleeping city.

  Troian knelt down on the curb as she recovered from the panic attack that would have inevitably occurred had she stayed inside and not come out to get some air. At least she had a sense of when an attack might come, which she was always thankful for. Being in big groups of people like the one tonight was never a smart idea for her, and she made a mental note to never go to a club like this again. Checking her watch, she sighed, knowing she’d have to go back in soon. She couldn’t leave Lucy here with them alone, especially not in her condition.

  Reluctantly she stood up, brushing off her clothes from being on the ground and took one last deep breath to make sure she was calm. That’s when she heard a strange voice behind her, and then the rush of people coming with cameras. Sighing heavily, she did her best to avoid the paparazzi, using her elbows to push her way out of the crowd that was swarming her. All of the voices seemed muffled to her now, and the only sound she could hear was her own internal screaming at the crowd surrounding her. Then all went silent. She felt the cold hard ground beneath her, and all she could do was look above her at the paparazzi. She heard the faint sound of her friend’s voices around her and then all went black. Nothing.
